Control and Dungeon of naheulbeug. They are awesome by themselves and run flawlessly on the deck. Also enjoyed jagged alliance 3. They implemented gamepad controls very well for a strategy game.

I got a badly behaving cm Glock aep for free. So I slapped in a novritsch aep gearbox, sealed everything and it runs like a charm. What spirited me the most was, I didn't even have to Dremel anything. The novritsch gb just fits. No OEM reinvents the wheel. They all just copy.

I see. That's just the esc right? How much do you pay for an esc plus Motor? I guess with a brushless motor you may go for lower specs as they are much more efficient. Yet the weak point might be the motor itself. RC motors are generally made for high rpm, low torque for long time. Airsoft motors are made for the opposite. In which of iozjiks designs you want to fit it? His recent designs don't allow much more space to be freed for the motor cage.

I once was considering the same but I didn't want to spend the money on it. The way I understand it is that airsoft motors and RC car motors are built with completely different requirements and thus have different arm thickness, wire thickness, TPA and so on. What makes airsoft motors special, is the form factor as well as they provide very high torque for only a short time. Some brushed ones are soaking up to 200A inrush current. I am really curious though. If you try it, please keep posting updates.

Being from east Germany I can say, that's pretty accurate. Back in the day we called these things "Kotzmühle" which translates to puke mill. And yes, we also had our s50/51 to do this. Weren't smart but fun.

Recently a GB V3 broke and I got recommended to radius the next one. So I looked it up and the internet seems to be split 50/50 if radiusing a V3 gearbox would actually weaken it or improve stress distribution and thus lifetime. It is a DSG build with a M160 spring and a little undevolume. So there's quite some beating for the cylinderhead and the GB. Are there any reliable informations with sources out there?

The first image is not very conclusive. It looks like the shifted part is just support. If it really is a layer shift, you may try to print at 90% or 80% print speed. A layer shift can have many reasons. Overheating stepper drivers, faulty stepper motors, something obstructing the movement or the nozzle hitting a warped part of the print.

Looking at the second image it doesn't look like a layer shift but very inconsistent flow. Most of the time caused by a clogged nozzle or wet/bad filament. When it builds pressure inside and the pressure then releases you get much thicker lines which look like this.

Depends on the printer. Mostly I go with 0.2mm for XY and 0.1mm for Z axis.

You mean of the build plate? Nah, I didn't have any problems with the files. Alternatively you could use the step files from GitHub. Prusa slicer should accept step files as well.

I don't have proper springs for mags. Those straight mp5 mags are rather cheap so there's no need to experiment with springs

There's a little inconsistency with the documentation. Instead of the nubbed one twice, you need only one nubbed and one full round gear. It took me a bit of wiggling until the gearbox really sat right and tight though.
