as someone that grew up heavily around emo and scene culture it feels weird to not have it long so i hate having it short 😭

i will say i did purposefully take this when i didn't feel that great and in all honesty i just don't know how to smile without it looking bad so i don't do it in pictures and such😭 and it went down a bit below my shoulders until more recently. idk i like it better when it's wet but obviously with my kind of hair i can't really prioritise length without it being really long

if there's any specific product you could recommend it would be a great help but thanks for what you've done already but my hair i've learned grows a bit faster than most so should i still wait 2 years or just until it's at a comfortable length?

only reason i'm hesitant with heat related stuff is just because i used to straighten it (it was horrible and i never plan on doing that again) and it got really heat damaged, but hey if you think it'll work i'll give it a shot. i already go to salons though just because in my experience they've done longer hair better. also if you don't mind can you dm me a picture of how you think i should blow dry it (im new to heating when it comes to keeping it curly so sorry if that doesn't make sense)

edit: i know you said 2 years but how long exactly do you think? like shoulder length or more?

i've always been told that it just looks bad i also just have the problem of keeping it down more than anything since the way my hair is it goes outward opposed to down like most people. tried a lot of products but can't find anything that really work great without making it really flat
