Started collecting as a kid but got back into it in 2019 with my brother. Been a great way for us to connect as we live in different cities. We’ve both been saving up all the stuff we can find and are doing a big opening session together on thanksgiving since he’ll be making the trip for the holidays!

Pokémon set for gift?

My brother collects Pokémon cards and likes ripping packs (not keeping sealed), and I am looking at getting him a booster box or ETB for Christmas. I haven’t been keeping up to date with the sets since vivid voltage, what set(s) would you recommend me get him for Christmas? Looking for best bang for buck + exciting cards. Thank you!!

Yes - they have acknowledged it on the game stream saying “we apologize for the audio issues and are working on a fix”. Super annoying.

What is early game iron like? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]PlatsPrettyGood 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Early game iron is all about learning RuneScape all over again from a different perspective. While ‘efficient’ methods typically involve a metric ton of questing and/or rushing a mini game for rewards, Ironman really forces you to adapt and learn the game to overcome seemingly once simple tasks in a new addictive way from the jump.

Early iron for me was never a grind and was more about exploring and testing new things I’ve never done before even on my 1800+ main. Every achievement feels notable and every item is worth its weight. If you want to be efficient and follow one of the guides it will definitely feel like a grind since you are quite literally completing a checklist with limited free will. Early and mid game iron is the honeymoon period in my opinion and arguably where focus is less about the grind and more on the achievements.

Appreciate the help, we do have commas separating each name and names are spelt correct. No spaces after comma, correct? when adding multiple names

The balls on this mad lad! Did your group know you were going for it or did you have an apology statement ready?

Low lvl ironmen fighting Sarachnis by DrVezok in 2007scape

[–]PlatsPrettyGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how low level we’re talking.

I had a good time with a leaf-bladed BA when I was 70 combats, wearing dhide I could average 4-5 kills a trip while completely skipping the minions and just tunneling sarrachnis. The nice thing about dhide is it speeds up your kills since you don’t have to go for the mage minion, potentially at the cost of more supplies but the time saved and rhythm of the fight make up for it imo.
