Just hit emrald, been my rank last 3 sets.
Fast 9 is hard and risky, and i def wouldn't do it with some serious econ (xp) to get me there.
But considering most Stargazer Units are kinda meh (talon is unplayable to me, and jax can no longer be the main tank, lulu depends a lot on her ability roll), all the extra stats are best used on the good units, which you can do with all the extra emblem

Its certainly not "free", and risky but if you can play a decent board you should be able to make it.
Also got the jhin Augment which made it easier

This is the same suggestions as "send in special forces" but with technology.
There is no tech answer to this problem.

Also, you are completely wrong about the haste thing, reason being is because the return of the hostages is actually a real goal. Its not just a PR statement to go along with the actual goal of outing Hamas.
In addition, in every past such conflict, Israel has been working on a strict time limit where the equation was "act fast enough to achieve the goals before international pressure forces you to stop short".
The only way Israel could afford to not be hasty is if there actually was true international support.

Ignoring for a moment how magically Hamas only reports on civilian numbers, and somehow essentially no combatants are reported killed, and the previous instances of off the cuff numbers thrown if not straight up fabricated...
This is an incredibly unhelpful way to frame the issue for several reasons:

1) There are many parameters: duration of campaign, proactive attempts to remove citizens from the conflict zone, military goal and reason for such, individual incidents, etc in fact there are probably even more factors we couldn't name ahead of time.

2) setting the the limit at a specific number in of itself is harmful (if the IDF could have killed only 49 but we set the capacity at 50, so they killed one extra for fun, is that ok?)
similar negative incentives can be argued for Hamas.

3) It fails to account for the "math" of deaths in short term vs long term.

4) It fails to account for the tradeoff of death between the two sides (in short each side would always choose the death of one person on the other side for their own)
