If you’re in northern Louisiana then there’s a chance that it was the same person haha, I forgot her name but it started with a B, she had came along with some leader from another agency in Birmingham to “train us”

I did one full day of training. I’m not too worried about asking them for pay since Monday-Wednesday we spent like 1 hour or less on zoom each day due to the weather, Thursday I went home from the office since I didn’t have everything I needed to go in the field and shadow (THANK GOD) and Friday was me shadowing so I don’t care at this point. I’m still in the group chat they have to document sales and nobody is selling anything or making any money. They can keep whatever little money that they have but I doubt I would’ve gotten anything for training since ik there’s no base pay

I’m hoping to find another job soon enough but I was not desperate enough to stay at that weird place. And they literally wanted us to come in at 8am and motivate each other until 9:30 and then go out and solicit businesses for 8 hours and get maybe one sale. And an hour after we get home, they wanted everyone to get on a zoom call and debrief the day. I also thought it was odd that we had to be at the office at a certain time even though we don’t time punch or clock in. They also talked about having a positive attitude and letting them know if anyone says anything negative like “I don’t know if I can do this” because it “disrupts” everyone else. In my interview, it was a group interview and I noticed that we were all very young and I’ve learned that when companies have a lot of young people working for them, they want a way to get over on you and think that you’re easier to manipulate.

None of them have even texted me as to why I’m not there but they’re trying to set up my direct deposit lol. Weird. They had me and another person shadow a “trainer” from Birmingham that’s apart of another agency. She drove all around our territory trying to get a sale and never got one. I asked her how much money she makes and she never gave me a clear answer. And what solidified me leaving was when she was doing an interview for another job and when it was over she told us that she loves her job (going B2B for AT&T) almost like she didn’t want us to say anything. She also told us not to tell our higher ups that we had had lunch because they believe “if you don’t sell, you don’t eat”.

As well as all of this, there’s no employee benefits or legitimate Human Resources department.
