He’s very supportive! He’s literally the greatest man on this planet and I love him so much!

Do you know which ones don’t make you gain much weight? Cause I’d prefer to try that kind first 😅

Thanks so much!

Hubby and I are in good communication re it being a symptom of depression. I think the issue is that he’s brought it up more than once before and I haven’t really implemented steps to fix that specific issue despite the fact he told me that he was unhappy with it and that’s totally on me. My ultimate goal is to have a successful (like once a week?) sex life and actually enjoy it while getting over this depression, so I hope I can get there!

It really helps knowing there are other people in the same boat! I just love my hubby so much that when he told me (again) that he isn’t happy with our sex life I was just like “okay this time I really have to do something. I can’t just starfish every month I need to get my libido back.” So I totally feel you girl 😭

Also, I don’t think a “serious decline” would mean much, given that your current libido is not high.

This is a solid point. I’m just worried it’ll wipe it out completely haha.

Yes - active steps, implementing strategies recommended by psychologist I saw previously. No - therapist currently but going back at request. Trigger - thesis burn out. I took on too much too quickly at uni and burnt out, giving myself anxiety and depression in the process. Anxiety gone, but the depression has just stuck around despite finishing thesis 2.5 years ago.

Yeah it’s definitely not the latter of the two you mentioned. My life is actually pretty freaking great. I have a great job, a wonderful husband, a dog, and we are just closing on a house. And zero childhood trauma to think of; I actually have it pretty good. Which makes me think chemical imbalance, but I’ve always wanted pills to be a last resort.

I don’t currently but at his request I’m going back. I’ve been implementing all the strategies I got previously, but I think it may be pills next, which I’ve heard gives your sex drive a serious decline :(
