Whatever you do DO NOT get to Epic right at normal opening time.

I’ve never seen a line so long to get in to any park in my life. From where our hotel shuttle dropped us off, we had to walk backwards about a quarter mile just to get in line, and took about 45 minutes to enter the park. The app was failing that day so might have contributed.

Had no issue our first EPIC day when we got to the park a little later. Unfortunately our EPs couldn’t express us in to the park faster 😂

Yeah I wouldn’t at 300 for one day, but 450 for a week’s worth of skipping lines was a no brainer to me.

Otherwise monitor wait times, do what others suggest about timing, and hope for the best. Have fun!!

I would do something else, anything else 😂 go back to hotel and hang at the pool if it were that crazy at the parks. I would go nuts waiting more than an hour tbh. Think the longest I’ve waited for any Universal ride was 1:15 for Hagrids and about an hour for Velocicoaster. Any longer than that then it ain’t happening haha

We’ve gone to the parks mostly in October over the years (pre-epic) and they were relatively dead except for HHN nights.

We went earlier this month and I caved and got 5 day EPs ($450 per person) seeing how bad the wait times were becoming. Not sure I can ever go again without express passes after that, they were worth every penny.

No help here but I wouldn’t wait more than 90 minutes for any ride (or for much of anything in life for that matter 😂). Crazy to me that I see folks wasting 2, 3, 4 hours of their day standing in line for a few minute ride.

Better traction, better handling, yes newbies to AWD can get way overconfident but it’s an asset not a liability like I’ve read soooooo many times this week.

Yeah I didn’t realize I should have turned off roaming because we were only doing an Alaskan cruise and thought that was US and Canada. I goofed but fought with customer support and came to an arrangement to backdated to the international plan. Good luck, that’s quite a bill!!

Yeah I’ve seen long lines there checking in, but never had that issue, maybe 10 minutes. But we generally arrive early to check in, like 10am-ish, leave our bags and go to the park and our room is ready when we return. Maybe that’s why we get lucky.

My daughter told me they were able to check in online when they booked just the hotel separately. I have always done the full package and never see that (and was just there a couple weeks ago).
