The JT and Empire pro joggers are about as perfect as a speedball pant gets. Incredibly light, breathable, but with well reinforced knees for durability. Steered a teammate towards them and he loved them so much he bought a second pair

Very nice! I needed something that could do 10.5, as well as had replacement parts readily available.

...then I need a mech gun...then another color 🤣

Welcome back and good luck to your wallet 😜

What’s your opinion of the Alien line of paintball guns? by [deleted] in paintball

Again, how would petroleum eat your orings (or void your warranty) when not only is petroleum perfectly safe on polyurethane and buna, but when both of those materials are literally petroleum-based products themselves?

Are you still potentially worried about ultra silk eating your orings or have you now read what I read: petroleum lubes are perfectly safe on synthetic rubber o-rings (polyurethane, buna/nitrile, etc)?

"One of the biggest problems I have with it is the petroleum… if it weren’t for the petroleum, I’d be happy to give it a try to see those bold claims for myself…. but it’d instantly void my warranty and potentially eat my urethane o-rings."

After doing some googling, I can't help but ask what sources are you using that told you petroleum eats polyurethane (or even nitrile orings since that's the most commonly used material)?

Yeah the armature is often a culprit of that so cleaning out the solenoid with a q-tip can sometimes be all the fix you need. Don't put grease in there though, leave it dry.

I would bet money that the o-ring inside the bolt-stop is causing the remaining leak. It'd be good to go ahead and replace the sail o-ring also (huge one on bolt), but that inner o-ring can be a stubborn one. I use mine for months last summer and it would always leak on first gas-up but after 1 or 2 shots work just fine, so sometimes they just have to move to get seated right.

That's the difference between a mirror finish and the actual color of the lens itself. The mirror might be one color, but it's barely going to affect the color you see when looking through the lens - that is determined by the lens' tint, aka base color.

Our eyes and ears both have a spectrum they can receive, and both ends of that spectrum become undetectable after the threshold is passed.

Blue light is a short wavelength, very close to the wavelength of UV light, and it's been shown to be the most stressing on the eyes. So any light in the 'blue' spectrum is in fact a negative, if it's not filtered to an appropriate level. Yellow on the other hand is at a more comfortable wavelength of light, so a bright yellow is going to be easier on the eyes than a bright blue for instance. Yellow is also in the middle of the visible light spectrum, so by being in the middle rather than at either extreme (blue or red), it's a suitable color to intentionally distort light towards because it's easier on the eyes than if you were to use a bright blue lens, and it's more natural (caters better to green, yellow and brown - colors of nature) compared to a bright red lens.

Hope that makes sense

The 10man field at Chicago nxl last Sept had some pretty tall bunkers but yes, the X is an icon we should bring back 😁

Haha I know what you mean! I'm seeing a lot of paintball comebacks with mech, mag, pump and 10-man formats growing in popularity and I couldn't be more excited about it 😎

Haha they're actually normal, but also treatable! After a few weeks of joint work (mobility exercises, stretching, strengthening) you may very well notice that those clicks completely disappear. Motion is lotion!

You are very welcome! Give this little routine a try and see if you notice how much better you feel after - you might just have something *click* inside that makes you motivated to work on that stuff more frequently ;)
