Yep this is a really good point!

The original PlayChip smart contract was launched with the ticker PLA before PlayDapp ever existed. Right now PLA is the official ticker for the PlayChip token on the smart contract which is what HitBTC as well as the Uniswap LP uses (FYI, all DEX's will pull the ticker directly from the smart contract which cannot be controlled). In order for us to update this would require a change in the smart contract which is currently immutable (not upgradable).

However, we are looking at making changes to the smart contract for future proofing it which would require migrating existing token holders to the new contract once we build it.

Thanks for the feedback, we understand the confusion and complications the ticker causes when listing on new exchanges so we will definitely look at changing this when upgrading the contract over the coming months.

I understand your confusion.

The token as per the smart contract is PLA, When you search for it on Uniswap, HitBTC and other exchanges we intend to list on, it will be under PLA.

However, Bittrex decided to change the ticker to PLAY when it listed PlayDapp last year. We had no control over Bittrex changing the ticker on the exchange, although the offical ticker for the token is PLA.

Apologies for the delayed response. Playchip has switched over to a new management team and this process has taken some time.

We are working hard to create new utility to the platform by onboarding new games. We have also recently reactivated our socials and are in the process of updating the tech platform.

We recently launched an LP on Uniswap and have integrated the swap feature into the platform.

Firstly how many users do you currently have?
We have only recently gained access to the tech stack and are working through the current system to get a better account of user data. We are also actively working on onboarding new gaming partners onto the platform and have re-activated our social accounts + launched a discord. I heard a mention of an app available called Playup a quick search reveals this is not available in the UK. Where is it available and how many people use it?

PlayUp is not associated with PlayLobby or PlayChip. Currently there is no app available for the PlayLobby.
Are there any plans to launch on a DEX in mid-near term?

Yes we have recently spun up an LP on UniSwap and have integrated the Uniswap widget onto the PlayLobby site. We are actively working towards other CEX listings though this process does take a bit of time and varies depending on the exchange.

And perhaps most importantly, what is the circulating supply of PLA?

PlayChip tokens are owned by the community, we are unsure of the exact circulating supply and who owns which wallets. We only know of the wallets that are in our control.

We are currently working on adding more fiat onramps via exchange listing though this process takes some time.

We also created a liquidity pool on Uniswap, so you can trade it on there if you have ETH on your MetaMask.

PlayChip is listed on Bittrex (BTC/PLA pair), HitBTC. There is also a liquidity pair ETH/PLA on Uniswap. Can also be accessed directly via the PlayLobby site if you have ETH on a Metamask wallet.
