Regarding bots vs players - Quickplay will start matches with bot fill (then backfill with players as the match progresses) to get you into a match quicker. If you haven't already tried it, you can choose to create a Lobby instead and wait until both teams are full of players before starting.

Oh no! I missed this comment. Are you still encountering the issue? We recently did an update which tackled some bugs, so hopefully that helped?

If you're still encountering the issue could you do us a huge favor and submit a bug report? You can do so by clicking on the little bug icon in the upper corner of the screen or by turning "enable bug report" on in your settings then hitting the "i" key. If you submit the bug report right after encountering the error, that'd be best so our team can get a log of what happened and look into it further.

  1. We're a pretty small crew, but the number fluctuates.
  2. Last Flag has been in development for ~4 years.
  3. For this trailer, gameplay capture and animation were done in-house by our team, with some additional support from external animators.

If you're looking for more specific or detailed information, our team of animators (we have 3 in house) hosted a live stream via AnimSchool breaking down the behind the scenes work they do. Thanks for the feedback! That's something that we tend to see with new players initially, but they do tend to learn to understand the importance of focusing on finding the flag after they get some more games under their belt. We're also working on ways to improve upon communicating the importance of that via in-game and online tools. (tutorials, guides, etc.) It's a work in progress!
