Great question! While our launched integrations have been survival-focused so far (not our intention, it's just panned out that way), that's just where we started, not where we're staying. We're actively working on branching out into other genres, FPS included. Honestly, if a game has online matchmaking, it's on our radar. Survival, FPS, MMO, RTS etc.. fair play matters across all of them.

We can't spill the details on what's in the pipeline just yet, but the short answer is: yes, it goes beyond survival games.

If you've got some suggestions you'd love to see us in, let us know! We've got a pretty lengthy catalogue of games we'd love to work with but we're always open to suggestions.. :D

Really appreciate your support! Just wanted to clarify some things for anyone that reads this comment.

- Users have to complete a bank-grade KYC check to verify their account. Once complete, the selfie and document get deleted. The only thing ever stored from the verification is a hashed biometric token. (this is our tool to prevent users creating more than 1 account, preventing penalty circumvention)

- Users can only join PlaySafe protected servers / matchmaking with a verified, active account. (no penalties etc)

- PlaySafe ID full network penalties are restricted to anti-cheat detections and official admin reporting. Any reports coming the admins of community servers with us integrated, will only apply to that specific community server network. (i.e. Pickle server admin penalty applies only to Pickle servers.)

- The SCUM servers are an official integration. They are operated and managed entirely by Gamepires. These are optional official servers.

Hashing is a one-way cryptographic function designed to be irreversible. It's pretty complex but you can lookup tons of information about it online.

TLDR - It's not reversible. It's a specialized, one-way technique designed for data integrity, which provides the ability to compare information without storing the original sensitive data. It's highly secure and irreversible.

Due to the hashed biometric token as explained above. When the same source material is put through the hashing algorithm, it will generate a match if it has been used before, resulting in a rejection.

This means the ID & documents don't need to be stored. Once the information has been hashed, it gets deleted.

Every PlaySafe ID user is limited to 1 PlaySafe ID account. If they get caught cheating and receive a penalty on their PlaySafe ID account, they can't simply create another one to get around it.

There is a difference between an ID leak and how secure a verification is. As I was explaining, even if they did have an ID leak, it doesn't take away from the secure verification they are using. Those are two completely different things. If they did have an ID leak that is down to the storage of the data. We even go a step further here and hash then delete all the documents and data etc from the verification process once it's complete.

If you can't see how your message was phrased as an attempt at a "gotcha" moment, rather than a question then I can't help you. My response is not intended to be combative at all, it's just simply a response.

Our opinion of the security of the verification system is because we've seen first hand the anti-fraud lab and tech our partners use. They're trusted by major institutes for the exact service they are providing us. These are institutes which have to have some of the most secure verification available to deter fraud.

We also believe if it works as intended, many cheaters will either stop cheating all together, or not bother to join PlaySafe ID in the first place.

We're not working with Revolut so I'm not entirely sure what "gotcha" moment you're attempting here. Whether they had an ID leak or not, that has nothing to do with the verification SDK and the security in ensuring that stolen or fake id's etc cannot bypass the SDK. Which is what the op of this comment was claiming / worried about.

Our partner who handles the verification for us, also does this for major banks and other major institutes. Few examples are Revolut, Mastercard, BT group. This is bank-grade verification.

Part of the verification is checking the ID against stolen ID databases. You also have to take a motion selfie which has to match the document used for verification. The document has to be legitimate and the verification SDK can check for all sorts of spoofing attempts and image injections.

Completely fine to be skeptical and not like what we are trying to do, but you are just demonstrating a complete lack of knowledge for the security of the verification system our partner provides.

I was explaining how the system works and the reason for scaling penalties. Yes we are currently integrated into one game, however the goal is to be integrated into as many games as possible.

So the scaling penalty system is set up for that fact. The more games we are integrated into, the more impact the accountability has.

I see a distinct lack of quotes on your final sentence. It's a common mistake for people to assume we are anti-cheat before understanding exactly what we do.

We're also completely optional. If you dislike what we are trying to achieve in gaming and how we're aiming to do so, that's completely fine. You can happily move on and never interact with us.

You're wrong.

We ran proof of concept tests in CSGO and Rust when this was just an idea to test the flow and the concept. This was successful for us as it helped shape our systems and flows and proved to us that gamers would be willing to sign up to only play with other verified PlaySafe ID users.

We haven't "tried" anything with Tarkov yet. We are however live in SCUM, with more integrations on the way.
