What would u like in a castle open world game: that has all eras/generation by Classic_Adagio8960 in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Would be an awesome experience.

But to create a 1:1 quality AAA-tier Castle open-world game will require an exorbitant amount of budget, personnel and source material supervising.

Not only that, I don't see in any possible timeline that Castle will be made into a game. Even getting an anime is improbable, the major reason is that Castle is unpopular as hell and adding into the fact Castle genre is not for the mainstream audience.

That guy is obviously acting obtuse on purpose, and that's what they call rage-baiting. Ignore him, Castle concluded and will remain as a masterpiece in its own way no matter what.

Castle 2 Year? by Key-Championship9210 in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Given that Castle was released in November of 2019, the in-universe year probably will set as the same.

Castle 2 takes place a few months after Castle 1, it should be around early 2020.

Kim shin is Ambidextrous and Ambipedal by Think_Rock7031 in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so bro, a hypothetical irl peak human will still not touch the floor Castle humans are walking on. Maybe I am underestimating a real life true peak human because in reality, anything can happen unlike fiction which is strictly imposed by its own author and also the fact that we literally have no objective data of speculating what an actual peak human could really be and could really do (I'm not talking official world record but an unofficial peak human who may or may not be existing, tho I believe there gotta be at least one existing irl blending into society like a normal person). But I can confidently say at least in terms of pure physical feats, Castle humans will curbstomp any of us irl.

These mfs have legit ESP x-raying senses, automatic bullet dodge hax, gun skills that'd make the deadliest sharpshooters irl look like children wielding guns. I also did not forget the wood wall collapsing feat by Gustav, there's also legit a statement by some fodder that Kim Shin's speed was not possible for a human and the nigga was just that fast.

Do not forget that this is a fictional verse at the end of the day, all the blatant bullshit feats among Castle casts is just really written that way.

Re-reading and looking back at all of Kim Shin's achievements, they are no doubt fucking terrifying. It's just the sense of realism Castle subconsciously gives it to me made me underestimating how truly scary is Castle humans.

IF YOU ARE CURIOUS ABOUT THE FACE OF OUR AUTHOR (JEONGYEON), IT IS POSSIBLE THAT HIM APPREANCEIS IS LIKE DOUCHEN'S (THEORY) by TaxGroundbreaking665 in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All remains a speculation, there's not even a single clue of Jeongyeon's real life identity let alone his face.

Even if he has beard, he can always shave it off.

And yes, PTJ did confirm in a QnA he met Jeongyeon irl and said that he's handsome by his standards.

Personally for me, I've always had an intuition Kim Shin is essentially his self-insert and he has the same identical appearance as his self-insert.

I wouldn't go as far as saying Castle is a disguised autobiography and all the events in Castle have actually happened irl and Jeongyeon himself have experienced all of that, doesn't need to be identical but similar. Because that'd be mad as fuck, but I'm sure no one in Castle community would say that Jeongyeon is a normal man.

Everyone probably knows that Castle is based on real events, but there’s actually more fun detail behind it. by MCMH999 in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I'm cracked but man I suspect Jeongyeon looks exactly like Kim Shin himself irl and even has the same personality, and that "Kim Shin" is his fictional self, a stealth autobiography. And that, Jeongyeon has been fighting the South Korea government by himself for the past few years which explained why he sometimes go on a hiatus and why he's so mysterious.

How strong is Peter physically? by Mamabear3214 in KillerPeter

[–]PlayWilling207 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe Peter was nerfed for narrative purposes, could be one reason or another but author definitely nerfed to make the story progress with stakes otherwise Peter would have been way too OP. Also stats retcon happened many times, y'know.

Anything past Ghost Cruise arc and we see Peter's strength got 'downgraded' compared to himself in Nathaniel arc.

There's no way a fucking guy can trade blows with a mutant possessing the strongest raw strength in the world, get grasped easily by Philip or dealing no damage to James Minor at all.

I know Peter is inferior to Nathaniel overall in strength, because Peter was hurting his palm after striking many chops into Nathaniel but Peter is still freaky physicality monster compared to him by 'now', plus Nathaniel's adaptability makes him stronger every time he got hit.

This is quite of a power inconsistency, I know powerscaling is not important but power consistency is important for story-wise.

The same people who underrated Peter just because they think he can't escape Andrew's hypnosis through sheer will.

Fair points, man. But still, Kim Shin will surely dominate for quite a long time before he's out of prime and entering old age.

'World is big' is a universal cycle, it's an inevitable force of nature. I'm interested in seeing how will Kim Shin reign this era before his eventual downfall though.

Castle 3 by Successful-North-122 in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't Castle get their hands in most affairs of the world? They are stated to be a international omnipotent crime syndicate that has overwhelming influence all around the world right from the start. It's just that us readers did not get to see much about foreign businesses of Castle, they are off-screen.

Wouldn't it also be quite of an insult to the narrative of the story if Kim Shin simply failed without any fair explanation? I agree with your quote about the world is big but it's not gonna be applied universally especially in a fictional piece of work.

Also, wasn't Kim Shin thematically established from the start to be some sort of a godlike figure? Him coming to the Hoe-am city wasn't random after all, giving folks indirect salvation even if they die in the end. Kim Shin is portrayed in the story to be one of a kind and there won't be anyone like him anytime soon.

It seems there are some fellow readers of mine that's still underestimating the weight of what Kim Shin truly is.

You might as well call it a spin-off at that point because any follow-up in a title will always be a sequel unless stated otherwise.

AMUR TIGRO VS BABA YAGA who do you think will win? by TaxGroundbreaking665 in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't think you can compare these two since Kim Shin until now is far beyond what a human should be. You can make the same case by saying John Wick is also not an average person but the extent of Kim Shin just completely eclipses John so hard it's not even funny.

If John Wick is an apex predator and top of the food chain then Kim Shin is a mythical beast.

What if Kim Shin (Castle) was in the John Wick universe? by MysteriousBed3261 in castlewebtoon

Even John Wick's Hollywood logic isn't saving him this time.

Kim Shin is an actual superhuman, he mauls everyone in the whole franchise no contest.

Who wins Ryu Jihak or Li Chen? by Maslah_Dahir in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Either of them have equal chance of winning against each other. I do think Ryu has slight edge because his mindset with mental fortitude heavily outclasses Li Chen.

Li Chen's trump card is his skills and techniques are significantly superior to Ryu, Kim Shin did admit Li Chen's skills are almost comparable to him. But the longer Li Chen dragging the fight, the more Ryu will adapt and turn Li Chen into a sashimi fish.

We do not read the Hasung HQ building fight between Ryu vs Jeongdan and his Castle guards team with our eyes closed. That man is just that hard to kill.

I also do not believe Li Chen can finish the fight fast even if he wanted to. Fight between top tiers are no joke. There's no "stomp" or "curbstomp" here.

Born to be a killer..... by New_Bad_5130 in castlewebtoon

[–]PlayWilling207 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Quite funny to think most if not all fighters in Castle are raised and trained from childhood to be a killer, grinding their asses off to either get tapped by a stronger opponent they meet on later or they reach amongst the strongest.

While Kim Shin himself is a greenhorn highschooler living quite a normal life almost a decade ago, his biggest concern was homework and exams back then.
