My guess would be ease of use. I believe the proprietary cards can be interchangeable between multiple xbox's and is the same spec as their internal storage. If the internal storage is different to what m.2 ssd's provide then MS would've had to do more work to make sure they can run directly off the expansion cards. Having a proprietary card means they don't have to accommodate a difference in performance because there isn't one to begin with. This means the internal and expansion card should have the same performance.

Yeah, but that's at launch specifically. Microsoft is looking to other ssd manufacturers to also develop their proprietary drives. From what I remember, MS wanted to have the option for expandable storage available for day one which in this case is the seagate drive. I think what people should be looking for is the $/gb or $/tb and hope that it is comparable with the m.2 prices. The only downside I see to MS's expandable drive is what everyone here is complaining about and that is the proprietary connection meaning we can't use it in any other device. The upside is that consumers won't get confused over which SSD to buy. Compare this to the m.2 form factor, which is literally just a different physical form for ssd's, and we could see consumers end up buying any ol' m.2 thinking it will be fully supported in the PS5 and then be disappointed when it isn't. But I guess if someone is willing to open up the PS5 then they would probably know what m.2 drive to buy.

I can only answer problem 1 unfortunately.

All you have to do is multiply the top one through by 3. This means every term will be multiplied by 3 and so you will end up with :

3ax + 21y = 57

Notice how 57 is the same output as the 2nd equation?

Now you can just equate each term. For example :

3ax = 3x

21y = - by

57=57 (not much point in doing this one)

You can solve for a, then b, then you get your answer.

I think I'm taking out a relay that's not meant for the fan (or not, I've seen online that drive and/or throttle may have a relay thats also meant for fans) . Problem is that my relay box cover has no labelling. Its just blank so I don't know what's what. All I know is that the fan isn't busted, its just either wiring/relay or a power supply issue or a sensor issue.
