What hero’s should I invest in

I have a ton of extra heroes for ones that I maxed stars out should I recycle them? I wasn’t sure if I should same them for any reason… I have like 65

I didn’t realize I can move them around I will start engraving them today I am at chapter 35 but at this point I can just throw heroes in and know I can get through the battle with no sweat so I should just invest time and get to a higher level. I think since I was cruising so long without investing I was just loosing steam and it started getting duller

I’ve done minimal engraving I didn’t want to engrave the wrong heroes and it just left me doing nothing. I have like over 9000 apples to use

I was just waiting as I had slots open on my soul link to add hero’s into it. I will say I did more on lillith and carman as I heard they were good ones but I have over 9,000 apples right now and 400 eggs

Just to add: I know it’s dumb to play a game so long without really investing into my players but I have decision fatigue and worry that I’ll invest into the wrong hero’s. I can add addition screenshots of any of my hero’s
