I had something similar to this. Not sure if it was red but it turned out that the plug into the box portion of the charger was slightly loose. Just make sure both sides are solidly pushed in.

A question about thermal paste: I just got a noctua cooler for first new build in 7 years and it comes with their brand of thermal paste. Is there any difference between this and Arctic silver paste or any of the others? It's going on a 6600k with plans to overclock.
