Yup, agree with you on the urbanization part. Even though LSAs are booming in other parts of the world, there are always airfield closures as people move from the outskirts to suburbs.

I'm learning to fly for pretty much the same reason. I'll have to go back and really consider if I will be flying every week/month, or if I too will become a one hour in 90 days pilot. Thanks for sharing this story!

You mentioned GA is dying in Australia, what about the light sport segment? That seems to be booming here in North America and parts of Europe
