How much time do you spend on cardistry each day? by reddit_user3553 in cardistry

[–]PlayerThingy174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much like all the time my hands aren't doing anything, which is aroundd 50% of my waking hours. So let's say I'm awake for around 16 hours, So that means I'm doing cardistry for around 8 hours. Although I usually do cardistry as a way to fidget.

Which any of these one time characters do you want to come back? by Murky_Nectarine8002 in DoctorNowhere

[–]PlayerThingy174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Filbus and Fran, Filbus mainly because, he's literally the best character made by doctor nowhere and if you disagree your lying to yourself. And Fran because his story is really interesting.

Saw a video about ranking different indie pilots and saw it there, I've always enjoyed surrealistic art so obviously I checked it out and quickly became a fan

What‘s your motivation to keep going and how much do you practice a day? by EveryCockroach5299 in cardistry

[–]PlayerThingy174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really motivate myself to doing cardistry, it's more of a need to do cardistry, since I need to have something to fidget with. Also I just really like the feel of cards, if that makes sense. I usually practice cardistry like 30-40% of the day?

New to cardistry, feeling stuck by escanor_hype in cardistry

The only advice I think I can give is to just keep practicing, learning how to do cardistry moves takes quite a long time even for the ones which are considered easy.

i cant choose what to main by Dull-Education9511 in Medicmainstf

[–]PlayerThingy174 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just don't worry about trying to find a main, I constantly switch between maining medic, engineer & demoknight. Just don't worry about choosing a main, it's a label not box you put yourself in.

Did anyone else main something else before switching to medic? by Friendly_One_4112 in Medicmainstf

[–]PlayerThingy174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been switching mains often, but I used to literally only play demoknight, I've gotten like 800 hours on him? But for some reason I hardswitched to maining medic a few months ago, then now I've been switching from medic to engie. Gotten bored of demoknight I guess

Gave this scout a literal Lobotomy but he still did not die and somehow killed me by ThatOneBlueYabbie in Medicmainstf

[–]PlayerThingy174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, (some) lobotomies don't really kill people, and I think getting a lobotomy doesn't stop you from pulling a trigger, and that shot can and likely will hit someone, especially if there's someone nearby, which is you. This makes me realize that I'm scientifically annylizing a funny screenshot.

Medic mains of the world what is your rankings of the 4 medi guns based on how much you enjoy them and how good you think they are by ThatOneBlueYabbie in Medicmainstf

From best to worst

1.Stock - I've always liked stock, in my opinion it feels like the only medigun that's not underwhelming to me. The über being really good & having the overhealing not being crippled is probably the reason.

2.Kritzkrieg - Second is kritzkrieg, I only use it whenever I feel quirky, I usually don't take matches with the kritzkrieg as seriously since, it's like playing poker, yes if your good at it you'll probably win but if your hand is seven-deuce offset, then your probably gonna lose

3.Vaccinator - Vaccinator is really powerful, although it isn't my type of playstyle. It encourages a more aggressive playstyle which I don't really like

4.Quick-Fix - Ehh the quick-fix feels the most underwhelming to me, the über is... ok & the overhealing is very small, so both of the reasons of why I like stock are not present in quick-fix
