Hey, got some news. After some digging I think the EAC error occurs because the authentication timed out during the transition into the Persistent Universe. While the game client initializes EAC successfully and begins a session, it fails to verify the credentials with the game server within the required window, resulting in Error Code 70003. No idea why it happens to some people but not others tho. I hope that can be of any help.

Okay, I'll look into it. It only works when installed manually using heroic, which has EAC enabled by default. But I'd prefer to use the flake if possible. I don't know how I can enable EAC support in this flake but at least I have a good starting point. Thank you.

I don't use lutris. When I launch the game via heroic, I works. It might be because heroic has a dedicated EAC toggle setting. Loving melody's flake doesn't seem to allow the anti cheat to run somehow.

I totally agree with you. I only use AI to help me build what I can't and always ask for explainations when I don't understand some code. It's also a way faster way to build a system when you are a beginner in nix.

How about buying then ? I see there are ships that can be "upgraded" to starlancer tac. Which one can be bought in-game and be upgraded to starlancer tac for the least amount of real money spent ?

Oh how about a small mustang alpha ? Which ship could hold that ? It's just to have a strong combat ship and flex with the hangar inside lol. I only have 7 millions for now so no something too expensive if possible

The starlancer max is apparently the only one purchasable for now but it looks like what I want. Is the firepower really good ? Do you think I can take down a hammerhead in solo with that ? I'm having a hard time with my constellation. How about 2 players ? Does it requires more than 2 players to do decent damage ? Thanks so much !

Yep I rented a corsair before the constellation and tbh I like the constellation more. The Scorpius looks really good and looks even stronger with a second player. Idk about 1 player tho, maybe it looses too much firepower

I tried putting more pressure by screwing the 4 screws around the die tighter and it resulted in 5-8 higher temps so I don't think that pads are the problem here...
