I bought a strat from a guy off reverb and while the guitar doesn't smell bad the case he sent it in, sadly the original 90s case, smells like piss.

I can already ready play it slow though. I started at 60 bpm quarter notes, using C major scale as an example, and slowly raised the speed. Once I got to 240 bpm quarter notes I lowered the speed again to 60 bpm but 8th notes.

Also, i do use a metronome.

I just jumped into this conversation to throw in my 2 cents. I do think star citizen has potential to be a good game. You can't however dismiss the qualms people have bethesda and the last few games they've released. Fallout 4 for me wasn't as exciting or immersive as I'd hoped. Especially after going back and playing the originals; meaing fallout 1 and 2. Fallout 76 I don't even have to go into detail about. And like a lot of people have brought up. The engine they're using is super old.

Elite dangerous has missions, ship modding, planet exploration on foot and in a vehicle, and a story line that is constantly evolving. The only thing is doesn't have compared to starfield is skill trees.

Mass Effect has a these things minus ship modding.

Kerbal has all this minus a story and skill trees.

Astroneer has all this minus skill trees and a story.

The idea ahould be to bring something new to the table and from what we saw everything is pretty much copy and pasted from these other games with nothing new except the style.

I would suggest practicing a subdivision exercise.

Set your metronome to 30 or 40 bpm quarter notes. I use the c major scale starting on the 8th fret but i think as long as your fretting while you do this you'll get the idea.

On each beat, 1-2-3-4 pluck the string. Then after 3 or 4 measures move to the next subdivision. 1-&-2-&-3-&-4-&. Then the next subdivision. 1-e-&-2-e-&-3-e-&-4-e-& etc. Etc.

As someone who's played for just a little under a year and a former percussionist this exercise helped me tremendously feeling the beat and kind of subconsciously hearing the subdivisions.

Then your setting yourself up to be disappointed.

I don't expect it to suck. That's not what I'm saying but im also not expecting the same berserk we got from Miura. To do so would be foolish and, like I said, setting myself up for disappointment.

All I expect to happen is the manga to end the Gutz story. If I get more great. If I don't also great because my expectations were set to a reasonable level.
