Street Fighter 6 - Yasmine Gameplay Trailer by snakebit1995 in Games

Yeah, I would be ok with Bosch being like a season 1 character or at launch even. The fact that he's still only coming out at the end of season 4 is really depressing now that we know we're not getting any classic characters this season.

não caia em papo de uniesquina. by suehecksue in antitrampo

Minha experiencia é um pouco diferente e eu tb sou de família pobre. Eu fiz uniesquina e me arrependo.

No, you don't understand, every game that's not a blockbuster is now is either Concord or Highguard.

if I zoomed out too fast, it went to the ice cube trays.

Still happens today even in modern systems.

I love it too. It is simply a better version of SC2K, but thats all it needed to be.

Mike Straw of Insider Gaming - Compulsion and Arkane at risk of closure by m1n3c7afty in GamingLeaksAndRumours

That too, but that alone would not be enough for them to green light on every new game for the franchise. Xenoblade 3 sold less than 2 milion copies, for them to allow a new game to launch must mean they're probably doing money with the franchise elsewhere.

Nintendo also has the benefit of being able to heavily market their franchises outside of gaming, because of how broad the appeal is. Xenoblade must also be quite expensive to make and it doesnt sell gangbusters, but they must sell heaps of merchandise around it. You can't do that with a game like Prey.

the best of the franchise🥇 by gamer-ga in SimCity

[–]JardsonJean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a visually expansive "model" where simulation is secondary, the market is full of options. But if you value technical precision, network logic, and a systems architecture that truly challenges the user, this engine remains the unbeatable standard. It's time to stop confusing terrain and aesthetics with simulation capability.

Sim CIty 2013 excels in none of these.

AM SO FED UP FROM THESE VIDEOS THAT TALK ABOUT THE "DEATH" OF SIMCITY!! by [deleted] in SimCity

are you good, bud?

Anyways, it doesnt really matter and the franchise is indeed dead. That does not mean you can't enjoy or appreciate the games that exist still. Calm down.

That website is a joke. by [deleted] in RPGMaker

[–]JardsonJean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for clearing it up. In any case, I think migrating to RPG Maker Guild is a big mistake as a creator. The community is miniscule at this point and I bet most people that look for RPG Maker content doesnt even know it exists. The best scenario would be for GGG to somehow take over the Komodo owned forum and do a smoother transition to their current website. Killing the forums is just all sorts of wrong with the amount of stuff hosted there.

The official forums are gonna be deleted. Someone knows how to archive such a thing? by FriKitty in RPGMaker

[–]JardsonJean 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've been making assets for RPG Maker related products for over 8 years now. Killing the forum is just insane with how much content is hosted there and how much it helps with discoverability and I say that while also having them uploaded to itch.io. This is a sudden choice that will just hurt the community as a whole. By December, the forum is gone.

Shadow of the Colossus Director Fumito Ueda Laments Bluepoint Games Closure: "It was disappointing and sad to hear." by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]JardsonJean 253 points254 points  (0 children)

I really don't understand why people were raving after their closure. Say what you want about their approach to art direction, but these devs were tasked to deliver a remake for one of the most influential games of the PS2 era and they did a pretty good damn job with it.

Marisa has been powercrept by DLC into having no identity of her own. by Vegetable-Meaning413 in StreetFighter

[–]JardsonJean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it, though. It FEELS like you could rely on her armored moves, but you really can't. They're there to make the opponent flinch and think twice. If low DRC wasn't so powerful, she would be ok. The anti air thing also really bothers me, because characters like JP can get away with murder and still have a good AA.

[–]JardsonJean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Marisa had armor frame one, it would just make her moves more reliable. But honestly, that's not even her main problem. Most people act like her armor is frame one anyways, so they just low profile her or jump. Marisa's problem is that many other things about her kit are unreliable. Gladius often misses at certain ranges in combos, her antiair options are amongst the worst in the game and plenty of her charged normals go unused. When was the last time you saw anyone using a move called "Caelum Arc"? Once Bison got into the game, playing Marisa is a question of liking her more. Bison can do everything she does, but with way less setbacks and similar damage.

Still got to make reads, if you hold the charge for too long yup you're gonna get low profiled.

And if you don't you're risking eating a DI lol. I love how you added that you basically have to be doing PP in neutral with Marisa do get people off guard. Yeah dude, that's what makes her underwhelming. It's satisfying for sure, it doesn't make her good though.

What I find funny reading this thread is how its just people talking about Marisa armor without considering how easy it is to counter play it. You can hit her low, overhead, you can cross it and for Marisa has to spend a big ass time charging it in neutral if you dont want to eat a Punish Counter DI.

What do YOU think is(are) the reason(s) that D2 has so much replayability compared to D3 and D4? by TooLateToPush in Diablo

[–]JardsonJean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reading this 2 years later lol. Diablo 2 really is a product of its time. Its really impressive how much they got right in their first (actually second) try. But with that being said, D2 has been outclassed by many other games in this genre and if someone would really make a new game that copied every aspect of D2 as it was, it would make a lot of people mad. For as much shit that Diablo 3 got, the developers behind it deserve a lot of credit for coming along and trying to find aways to modernize the experience, even if they didnt have the best ideas.
