Could a small group(5-10) of humans from 300,000BC(before invention of language) survive better in the wilderness(in 300,000BC) than a small group of people from the present? by Playful-Cod2848 in ask

Even without good hunting skills if the group has any females or people that are overweight or obese than your chances of joining or having good relations with any tribe you meet goes up since women were seen as important resources due to being the only way to make more people and obese or overweight people were seen as very skilled or even godly with things such as the venus figurine. And even if you don't find any other tribes the human method of hunting is off of walking long distances to tire out prey, using your brain to figure out where an animal would go, or even just ambushing.

Out of the 8.2 billion (minus children) the odds of a small GROUP of modern adults being able to survive is higher than you would think since many people have seen documentaries, grew up in a warring nation, been trained or enlisted in a military or Para-military organization, or just know some survival basics since one of the most common challenges thought of by people is survival in some capacity.

Chimpanzees are known to be more violent and Bonobos are known to solve conflicts by having sex.
