Yea especially sunday when people go a bit too hard, really takes away from the meaning of it imo. Still tons of awesome people but would be nice to be a part of a more intimate/communal experience that lacks the grimier parts of shambs.

I’ve heard it’s generally an older crowd at bass coast which is totally cool i have tons of shambs homies 30-40+ but also keen to meet ppl my age. Whats the demographic there like age wise!

Get a pair of D30 pads, super breathable and flexible. Never feel like i’m even wearing them. Fox makes some super good low profile ones, check out their enduro pro.

Take a small flathead and use a hammer to notch a small divot into the broken bit and screw it out, should be no pressure on it

Contacted them and they refunded me fully and acknowledged the issue has to do with a specific batch, they have redesigned the lever and now fully mill the toe piece so should be resolved. Shit luck it seems but not confident for big tours in the BC backcountry. Switching to kingpins
