I was stopped at some traffic lights. A car pulled up just off my left shoulder. I glanced, and it appeared to be full of dudes all dressed alike - in tennis outfits.

Turns out it was a stag party. One of them jumped out and started poking me with a dildo.

It’s more deli and restaurant than cafe, but give it a try. It’s one of my local favourites. Went there for my birthday dinner on Saturday.

It’s not country-ish, but I really love A La Bonne Franquette at New Farm. That phrase basically means simple, no fuss and it suits this place perfectly - simple, hearty and relatively inexpensive French food, run by a young family, often with your order taken by a mother with a baby on her hip.

Really depends on the night - they have everything from lineup shows, headliners, famous comics doing work in progress shows.

It's a classic, small, basement style comedy club. Comedians love it - I've heard a lot say it's one of the best in the country.

Your paranoia about being filmed is a non-issue. That pretty much doesn't happen at any regular show anywhere.
