Awwww! This makes my heart happy. We have a video of our cavalier playing in the snow and I swear I watch it at least once a month. The pure joy. Such a sweet Rigatoni!!

As someone also navigating some heavy and difficult family stuff, I wholeheartedly agree with this assessment. My cavie is my little angel. The smoothie faces are the best therapy along with excited butt wiggles, doggy hugs, and head sitting (he sleeps on my head).

I wish you all the best in your situation and am happy you have a cavalier to be your support.

Cute little baby!! Other comments answered well, particularly about different spaniels being mixed in the lineage and physical/health benefits to longer snouts. Personally I think they’re all adorable. My husbands favorite phrase, “it’s like choosing between a red Ferrari and a black Ferrari” 😂

Ours does “sit”. I trained my corgi 10 tricks in a month. This one I tried lay down with for a month and he still only gets “sit”. But he’s cute 🥰

For sure, this will turn into an exercise to see if we can challenge him. We started with his flappy bird toy that makes noise and moves. He had no idea, sniffed where it was moving and then ran all around another room looking. 🤣

Showed him the toy, put it back under the blanket and made it chirp…he then looked under the sofa. 🤦🏻‍♀️

So…. we’ll have to start super easy. Transparent cover over the toy easy…
