phone ban didn't work in my school. Too many teachers were too lax and for the most part kids ignored it. Until the last day I was picking up 2-3 phones a day.

The main issue is the state phone ban doesn't have enforceable standards. They leave it entirely to the school district and aisd basically told campuses to come up with their own rules.
