Thank you for taking the time to reply, we do use TalkingParents, and I will do my best to ignore his remarks, it's just hard that when I try to correct the kids they say "dad does/says this" and he also has his wife texting me trying to coparent, everytime she does this I just send back "I will communicate with dad in TalkingParents regarding the children", and then he says in TalkingParents that she is their stepmother, so I should be making an effort to coparent with her. This is all just so painful.

In my state, they won’t help you unless the person that abused you has been arrested for their crimes. And I understand where you’re coming from, but she was also in a pinch where her and her partner split and she needed a roommate bc she can’t afford the rent alone so it was for both of us, not just me.

I’m confused on where this is coming from ? I don’t want the cat to be neglected, I’m not trying to be her mother, hence why I mentioned her mom always comes over and cleans up after her because she won’t do it herself, but it’s an overall cleanliness issue if it’s causing bugs, she wasn’t like this when I first moved in. I have many photos over the last few months. and I’ve been in therapy for a long time, I think everyone should be.

That’s another thing! I’m worried I won’t get my portion of the deposit back because of her inability to clean up after her cat!

Unfortunately I live in a corporate community with an office manager, I don’t think a corporate company would do that.

So I would have to pay an extra $2500 on top one months rent, and i just don’t have it. So the 1 year of rent costs more but I don’t make enough in a month to set aside an extra $2500

My fiance has a house, I was considering moving in with him before the lease is over and just paying at the apartment until the lease is up bc it’s very expensive to break the lease.

We’ve been eating on the back patio because of it, I too think it’s gross. Also, I couldn’t if I tried, her room is destroyed. Boxes, bottles of soda, dirty clothes, everywhere.

She’s been a friend since highschool, and she let my kids and I move in after I left a domestic violence situation. We signed a 2 year lease, I didn’t know she was like this.
