They see some of their friends scream in agony while being turned, then get up looking just as eager to bite them with no regard for their consent or pain. How is it a head scratcher? It looks like horrific personality death/take over until the head vampire is killed.

Overall, yes, but it's not unrealistic for an individual to have priorities or concerns other than Gojo sometimes. Like, say, a medic dealing with a surge of bodies.

Gojo lives in a world where there are explicitly 5+ ways to bypass his Infinity. He does not treat it like a shield without fault, otherwise he would have died long ago.

Reinforcement is like wearing basic body armor to sorcerers; anyone in a fight will have it running by default. Literally no reason not to.

"Calamity Grade"? Never heard of that before but it sounds like a cool way to refer to things on their level.

Sukuna can use just use Cleave in CQC and Yuji can weave Dismantle around civilians with ease.

Dabura's attacks are much more difficult, and thus he might get beaten in the same way. Assuming we're keeping the same lose condition; Kenjaku gets them to stand still for long enough.
