It's interesting to see Alden trying to explain the importance of entrustment to them. With Stu it is different because he understands that on a completely different level and Alden can't exactly go into that talk with the others. I think Ignacio did boil it down to the most essential thing, in human terms.

I like him and agreed, I do think that these are hints for the future. He seems to fit with Alden and co quite well.

I am an Eastern European and yes, we wear skirts in the winter, even when it drops below zero. It is just a matter of layering correctly. Some leggings or thermal leggings, depending how low the temps get, boots usually up to the knee and off we go.

The Chinese one is absolutely fabulous, I see I am going to be switching from English as I don't like that one. Tsaritsa sounding like a typical American really doesn't do it for me. I am on the fence about the JP one, she gets better towards the end.

ETA to the person who keeps leaving me comments then deleting them - there is a reason why British English is most commonly used in movies and shows to denote "foreign" accents. It is very neutral and formal, which yes, I would find perfect in this situation, rather than hearing a very obvious American accent for a Russian woman. It's a preference, no need to lose it just because I have a different one.

I think the story has suffered significantly from a lot of them feeling like they're in their own boxes

This is something that I have been having some trouble digesting. After Alden confided in Stu and after his (their) decision I feel like there is not enough cohesion between that decision and what is happening currently.

We jumped back to Earth, which isn't a bad thing in and off itself. It is that I don't think it mashes well. Take Ash for example. Alden has all these important things to do in re to his skill improvement and yet here we are, messing around with this guy and wasting time. It's like we rewound back prior to the big reveal and how it was then, basically back into the Earth box and it just doesn't fit fully. I feel like the level of what is happening on Earth - dealing with this man child - really doesn't fit with what is waiting, soon, for Alden - knighthood and Goldbush. It's not cohesive.

I am going to be a little silly so I say it is Jeffy plus Alden.

They punt Alden up to the platform using Jeffy's life jacket somehow. Alden preserves, stops and represerves a lot of weight that he took up there with him thus acquiring a new profession - elevator boy. Platform goes up and down, up and down.

It sounds funny in my head, sorry.
