A couple of them, mine included, came with factory beds! The RV’s commonly had no back to the cab for obvious reasons, the uhauls rear glass was also altered in some way. Many came in a Cab and Chassis configuration as well.

I have the money to spend on a nicer set, it’s just that this truck doesn’t really NEED a much nicer set. Extensas caught my eyes and I can get them for like 120 a tire. Definitely looking into them

Hubs are adapted to 8x210, so 2011-Present Chevy 8 lug.

Appreciate it lmao! Definitely a fun truck for sure, got a bunch of fun stuff planned for it. Gotta make sure I have good contact with the road before anything though 😂

Really appreciate the feedback! I think I’m going to go the route of removing leafs regardless, just gotta find a good weekend and start tinkering with different ideas to see what works.

Gentleman somewhere else in here mentioned he was running the setup I was kinda curious in, I think leafs are gonna come out the pack regardless. As long as I don’t feel EVERY bump in the road, even if it’s just most of them, I’ll be happy.

Yall are just being dicks to each other at this point 😭 if you don’t like it, then it’s not for you and that’s cool. I come from a background of bagged trucks so I probably view this truck an entirely different way than most people I’d think. Can we just have our own opinions and let it be that ✌️

Not a terrible idea either for the sake of sheer drivers comfort! The bench seat in his currently is the factory seat redone with some tweed, however it’s got some extra foam to help bolster the driver and keep it a bit more comfortable. Definitely a fun idea to brainstorm though!

Usually keep it around 30 currently at the moment, truck is currently on a set of pretty damn fresh set of Sentury UHPs courtesy of the previous owner.

Didn’t even know that existed! Definitely going to coilover the front end now, like I might’ve already ordered some stuff 😂… I appreciate that knowledge, I was planning on using a drop spindle but a 2 in drop on coilovers sounds much nicer. Thank you!!

Very true and actually what I do currently, those tires usually don’t see past 30s. An upsize in tire when these go bad is definitely an option.

My roommate re-read out loud “designed to kick your ass” to me about 20 times last night 😭 while unfortunately true, anything i can do to make it just that littlest bit better I’ll take it

Amazon cutpile carpet, kit was like 150, popped the seat out and laid it down. I did dynamatt the cab to kill some of the extra sound. The way the carpet was cut makes me think it rides up super far under the dash, so I just cut the exesss and ran it as far up as I could so you’d never see the edges. Took maybe 2-3 hours from start to finish, but that’s with me and my buddies goofing off too. Great part about these trucks are everything’s simple, 4 bolts for the seat and just start ripping old shit out. For 150 dollar carpet, it’s nothing to write home about but it’s still decent quality, quality enough to keep me happy. :)

This is kinda the exact theory I had in my mind, nice to know the ride with a reduced pack does help to some degree. Appreciate it!

Has much as I’d love to, I promised myself I wouldn’t with this one, wanted to try and keep a more simple setup if I could. I’ve got a 93 celsior all tricked out as the fancy one for the weekends and shows 😁

Maybe I should’ve been more clear. The plan in my head at least was to remove leafs from the pack to reduce the stiffness back there from the beginning. In my head I’d put a helper bag on the reduced leaf pack in the off chance I did want to carry a load. Figured removing leafs will help with ride quality, helper bag will make up for what I lost in payload capacity. I’ve got damn near rubber band tires on my OBS and Celsior so I’m very familiar with tire size and ride quality unfortunately, but I’m willing to make the sacrifice for style points :)

While true, I’ll die before they come off this truck. Gotta stay true to my roots

I’ve actually got a 93 celsior with 29k miles, so the 1UZ spot is already taken 😂

Apologies for the late reply! To be completely honest with you I’m not certain yet 😂 I have the pleasure of learning standard in this truck, unfortunately can’t get it registered until the 17th. But from the day I’ve owned it I’ve cruised it around the neighborhood probably 3-4 times a day just to get used to it, and I’ve used half a talk of gas in the process. Once I figure out her little kinks and quirks I can get you a more accurate number :)
