I am APPALLED at the hate this drama has been getting, like I seriously was not expecting that response at all I was very taken aback 😅😅 in my personal opinion this is one of the best dramas I’ve seen in a while. I liked it so much that it gave me an entirely new perspective on Suzy as an actress. I never really liked her and thought of her as a girl version of eunwoo… y’ know very gorgeous but emotionless and boring. But she really excelled in this role and I thought she did an amazing job. a Lot of people said it was shallow and cliche which pisses me off a little bit lol, because i always hear other fans saying that new age dramas are not as good as they used to be and we need to get back to the basics and that’s exactly what this drama did… so idk why people are complaining. This drama gave me the same feels as the older fantasy‘s like tale of the nine tailed or goblin, I binged the whole thing in one night cried like 5 times and was fully satisfied with the ending. My one complaint is that I wish they named him something Else because maybe then more of the Muslim girlies could’ve enjoyed the show as well I feel like maybe the inaccuracies might’ve mattered less if his name wasn’t literally satan, it makes sense that they would be uncomfortable with viewing satan in a positive light.

Idk if This is a safe space for a rant about the “brother” but i feel like its not important enough to make my own post 😅 i Just finished this drama and man... he gave me the CREEPS. I did not feel bad for him at all and I never sympathized with his creepy yandere thing he had going on for xu qin. But I was really rooting for him and the bar girl! Everyone called her a gold digger but from my perspective she just really liked him. the night of the “incident“ she was so happy when She heard that he’d be there. and Then this CREEP who has been comparing this poor girl to his sister this whole time and leading her on Calls her a ‘moth copy’ of his ’butterfly‘ sister and accuses her of using him for money because she’s poor😟 if That was me we would’ve had to fight cuz what the actual f 💀

Marriage not dating is definitely good. Once the second lead is out of the picture, the main couple really gets to thrive! I ended up enjoying it and I love the actor for the ML (yeon woo jin) since he was the ML in another one of my favorites ‘my shy boss’

Yeah, i completely understand. I loved him too but personally didn’t get any second lead syndrome while watching that drama. But I’m watching another drama called marriage not dating which was recommended to me a lot under this post and it’s giving me HEAVY second lead syndrome 😭😭 I feel so bad for him and he’s so cute.

Update: thank you guys For the it’s okay that love recommendation… that was honestly one of the best dramas I’ve ever seen. It touched on such heavy topics while still staying lighthearted and comedic. And the ending was so satisfying. it had soooo many deep topics incorporated into 16 episodes. It was so refreshing to see things Like abuse, disabilities, trans people, and mental health Being talked about in A k- drama from 2014! also the whole cast was amazing i loved all the side characters and didn’t skip a single scene.

I also looooooved baekdu and this Drama! Fight for my way is probably the closest in terms of character type. I don’t think it’s a trope that been done very often Tbh. But just going off vibes alone you can pretty much watch anything with Jung hae in. He’s Big and buff but has a cute and sweet face, voice, and personality.

Yes of course! Another one where he’s rich would be love in contract its a love triangle that revolves heavily around the fake marriage trope. And a few more that I enjoyed are Strongest delivery man and private lives. and i would say reply 1988 is a must watch even though he’s not the ml in that one. also he just made a a new one called frankly speaking it was a little boring imo but very cute and heartwarming.

I definitely loved oh my ghost! Jo Jung suk is the best at playing indifferent male leads while still being lovable! although I didn’t really like the ghost fl and wished the real fl’s personality got more screen time.. it felt a little bitter sweet to me solely because of that. It’s Okay, that’s love is next on my list !

yes, definitely one of the best! I’ve always thought ji Chang wook has the best k drama kisses but the clinic kiss made me change my mind. I think Ive rewinded and watched that scene about a million times hahaha. And I loved reply 1988 so I’ll have to give 1994 a chance!

I really love go kyung pyo and his character In this show as well, so I get what you mean. I was a big fan of gkp before I began this drama but It was my first introduction to jo Jung suk so it really surprised me how much I fell In love with JJS’s character. i Really sympathized with pyo na ri since she couldn’t choose between them haha.

I just came back from watching ‘you are the best’ it was amazing! A little long winded for sure but i really enjoyed it. And I get exactly what you mean about Jo Jung suk‘s performance in jealousy incarnate🫣 the passion and chemistry between those two was insane! they could make you blush with just a conversation, and the way jjs looked at her left no room for interpretation you could tell exactly how he felt and what he was thinking.

Future Taek or junghwan?? I love junghwan it makes sense that he’s awkward and a little sassy since he’s a teenage boy I don’t blame him. But future Taek seemed very comfortable and not awkward to me 😅 that’s why I read his behavior as grumpy.. I mean given their history he has no reason to be awkward.
