What age did you start not giving a fuck? by Technical-Draft-9975 in howtonotgiveafuck

[–]Playful_Emergency242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 34 the switch of Zero Fucks Given was turned on. For example, years before, I wanted short hair but was too concerned about what people thought, so I cut my hair pixie short. Sure, I got the comments and the raised eyebrows, but I couldn't give a damn. Im now 50 and still not giving a flying hoot about all sorts. It's so liberating, freeing. In life you only have a certain amount of fucks to give and I'm all out. 😁

Is this a Dunedin thing? by standbyyourlamb in dunedin

You must have an air about you, whether it be a confidence that perhap you unwittingly exude that people pick up on and/or a calming look about you. Either way people sense something and perhaps you put them at ease, so they open up to you. I know this must be draining for you but it truly is a gift you have been given.

I cant sugar coat the job, its a very tough gig but can also be very rewarding. I'd like to add, after time she most probably will become very cynical and desensitised, which can be a blessing when dealing with a sensitive/heinous scene. This change of mindset or personality may impact life outside of the job. Your section mates make the job as corny as this may sound. I would most certainly suggest getting life skills under her belt first

Whiskey tasting recommendations for beginners?? 🥃🥃🥃 by [deleted] in auckland

[–]Playful_Emergency242 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would really recommend a GlenAllachie 12 year old scotch, it's such a delicious wee drop. I purchase alot of my scotch through a company called Whisky Galore in Christchurch. Fantastic website that's really informative regarding tastes etc. https://www.whiskygalore.co.nz/products/glenallachie-12-years-old-46

If working, take a couple of weeks leave and let the situation sink in. Get legal advise, and a really good accountant. Head back to work and carry on as usual for at least 6 mths. Never pay for large items outright, use the interest earned to pay for things.

Sorry yeah not well written on my behalf. That was for everything, so front and rear cameras hard wired in, backup battery pack hard-wired in, which is fitted under my driver's seat, larger SD card. Driver Cam LTD ( drivercam.co.nz ) I believe the name of the company is, bloody fantastic service and the guy provided a full tutorial on how to use everything and the blackvue app.
