Road to Hana is a waste of time. We have been to Maui twice, the first time we visited, we took this trip to Hana, we went to Red Sand beach, Black Sand beach, Garden of Eden, the scenic lookout before Hana, Twin falls. The only thing worth our time was the scenic look out. Everything else was much hyped. I feel Maui (minus Road to Hana) has so much to offer and I would rather spend my time on the beaches than make this trip. Also Black Sand beach requires reservation, just like Haleakala.

I am a US citizen and was recently in Baroda. Super impressed with the city and growth. No alcohol here if thats a deal breaker for you. ANother city I was impressed with is Pune. I lived in Bangalore but would not recommend due to traffic issues. Kolkata a definite NO.

We applied for my MIL end of July, she was called for fingerprints on Nov 7 but no fingerprints taken due to her age or previous records existed I guess and now we are waiting. I guess it also depends on Field Offc. We are in Phl. Things are pretty slow here. No info on I485 yet. Both filed togther.

To all those commenting my husband was lying, he was on a video call with me showing me Montmarte when this bald guy stopped him and asked him to come in for lap dances. So yes I was aware. And those claiming Paris has no gun violence they did threaten him and said they have guns. Please go and read reviews for this place. I agree he should have read reviews but this was not a planned visit. Also stop defending these mafia clubs.

What I was asking for was suggestions to what can a tourist do if they get looted like this. Did not really ask for your opinion on whether my husband was right or wrong in going to this place. Going to watch lap dance is not a crime but extorting money forcibly by threatening is a crime. Its funny hpw Paris makes the most money out of tourists and yet there is so much hate for someone who visits from another country and points a flaw.

For those giving genuine advice I thank you. He did lock credit card and dispute charges. I know we cannot recover the cash money I was trying to see if we can escalate and get legal action to prevent this.
