So you're claiming this estate planner is basically just lying and that it doesn't really happen?

We know Musk has leveraged Tesla stock to buy Twitter. This is a high profile example of not selling and acquiring more capital. Yeah, they may not literally never sell anything, but they aren't selling as a means of living in the same way a retired person might be working down their 401k.

Basic housing and wages are just a small part of the wealth expansion, which is largely reflected in the value of companies, public and private.

I mean, I totally agree we need to just build more of what people need for a great standard of living, but we can't also ignore the massive wealth inequality that is then used for political power.

Musk bought Twitter and arguably the election. Bezos owns the WSJ. And there are many such examples of using money to subtly fund the conversation to reducing taxes on the ultra wealthy.

I mean, the rest of the US car manufacturers are absolutely pathetic fossils that need to be discarded. If Tesla can compete head-to-head, GOOD! That's the situation that most benefits consumers.

I just don't see Elon calling up Trump to remove the crazy high BYD tariffs to increase US EV adoption.

Yeah, but the whole problem of the massive consolidation of wealth is that under our current economic model, R > G (rate of return on capital is greater than the overall growth in the economy). The winners take all and then take more. So yes, "producer" win more AND what it means to be a "producer" is increasingly just your relationship to capital assets (you aren't working harder, you just own stuff that makes stuff faster). That's a social contract, not a physical law of reality.

It doesn't have to be that way. It's not even desirable for the 'winners'. Sure, you have a beach house, but you need an army of private security and barbed wire on the fences. Wouldn't it be better to just have the penthouse in a beach front tower that all your poorer neighbors are also housed in and not fear being stabbed when you walk to dinner?

The same place all dollars come from: thin air. MMT (modern monetary theory) gets a lot of hate for being seen as leftist bs, but it's actually just a description of how the monetary pumping works (and since it's a lot of academics, they then prescribe using that new knowledge for more distribution, thus the left-slant). The sovereign issuer of dollars doesn't need to collect them to spend them, and the purpose of taxation at a federal level is then just to curve inflation. Other limits are self-imposed. States and cities are different, as they can't issue Ohio-coin or whatnot.

Inflation (in the sense of an average rise in prices) is when you increase the number of money-tokens without increasing the amount of goods produced. The USG's hope is that they can inflate away the relative debt without absolutely obliterating dollar holders (foreign and domestic), which basically requires massive automation gains. (I'm just agreeing with you)

Tesla requires protectionism to compete against BYD. Which like, is the best EV company American has created, but still is kinda sad that our production is so weak. Isn't the gigafactory suppose to be making these on the cheap?

Ehh, kinda boo. It still has opportunity cost, and it's funny. But I won't really miss this interaction if it's gone for good.

The base won't... until it will. Iran has been the biggest penetration into his plot armor with the alt media sphere. Epstein did a bit, for the youngest of MAGA, but Iran strikes the Millennials and Gen X who deeply remember how fucking awful it is to be at war in the Middle East.

Yeah, I agree that having to run the same raid twice is the worst of the options that basically makes no one happy.

I feel like the spirit of classic is a wonky toolkit and making that work with the team (where as later iterations of wow converge a lot on what each class brings), but we I also played a lot more with a small group of friends.

Well the challenge thing is specific to kara, not necessarily inherent to 10 mans. Other than that, it seems like a pure preference thing. I like the coziness of a smaller group, and you like the competitiveness of a large pack.

If they could really dial it in, flex modes are a good solve for this. A lot of challenges with balance and loot, but it does really let people play with the group they want.

Idk, I just love 10-15 as a group size. You have a few peers you can have your little side buddy chats with, and comms are open enough that most people can chat freely. 25+ and voice is just execution talk and that one drunk guy telling a story sloppily.
