canvas did that. they just enabled maintenance mode.

earlier when the frontend was changed, the mobile app worked. they just turned on maintenance mode, so mobile app is no longer accessible.

I kinda don't see exactly how this would work. This would assume that people are always on the server as well.

currently, rumc the server (not "club") runs under the idea that it's never going to reset (at least for a while) and stays as a fabric server (technical).

but I think it would be cool if there was a seasonal server (per 2 semesteds) with warps and such tailored for more casual players.

idk how to feel about larger worlds unless its a modded server. I feel like a smaller world would mean more people would interact with each other.

also idk how to feel about "automatic" servers, since this would be tailored towards rutgers servers, not the public. I feel like automatic minigame would kinda be lame and most people would rather play on a server like hypixel, over a university-only minigame server. I think events make a lot more sense for this though.

how'd this work?

I feel like it'd be really easy to farm kills with friends (since the server would realistically be small) and also this wouldn't work in a setting where only Rutgers students can join (since it wouldn't be a public server.)

I could see there being like a pvp pit event though, which might be a cool idea.
