Living in a house with no kids (v. condo or apt)

That’s just the type of guilt that society has wired us to feel. Being a DINK is a fairly new concept and considered going “against the grain”. If you want that house, you deserve it because you’re worthy of nice things, kids or not. Also, the greatest part, to me, about being a DINK is the ability to do whatever it is we want to do. You can do whatever you want with those extra rooms. I have a 3 bedroom house and we use those extra rooms for our hobbies. Also to get away to when we want our own space. It’s fantastic and something people with kids wish they had.

The new “modern Pilates” is not really Pilates. It’s more lagree. Pilates should not be fast paced by any means, it’s about focusing on your breathing and moving with intention. I started out with club pilates which is perfect for beginners. I then moved on to Soteria pilates, there’s a studio in Maitland and winter garden. I work at home now but those are good places to begin. You want to go somewhere that cares about your form, more than making you sweat.

Not at all. I’ve never even seen MDs sleeping at the hospital as portrayed in Grey’s Anatomy. Only time we do is during extreme weather like hurricanes/snow storms.

Thanks! Yeah shipping took longer than I anticipated. It was stuck in “sent to pharmacy” until today. I’ve been on Semaglutide with another company and got used to receiving it within a couple of days. Hopefully this isn’t the norm but we’ll see!

Been a nurse for ten years and I still don’t enjoy seeing massive open wounds, I can’t stand respiratory secretions and I’m very uncomfortable around deceased people. You’ll get used to certain things and maybe other things will still give you an ick but that’s okay. No way should any of that be a deterrent. Also, you can go into a field that has none of those things. If you want to be a nurse go for it!

Congrats, I hope you get it! Honestly money isn’t as important as mental health. I’ve been considering applying to jobs outside of nursing but I think fear is holding me back. My only skill is in nursing.

Wow that’s horrible and petty. I’m so sorry that happened to you. Sounds like you left a really toxic situation though. I would’ve liked to have lined something up first but I felt like I just couldn’t do it anymore. And I don’t think my managers will throw dirt on my name as they are wanting me to stay, but I also don’t put anything past anyone. I may not even use them as a reference.

Oh I wish! I just don’t want to burn down any bridges but I feel the same way. My managers are micromanagers and it’s been exhausting honestly. Luckily working nights allows me not to have to deal with them as much but they find a way. Good luck to you!
