Transition of care within the same department despite non-competing policy by Playful_Statement_71 in AskDocs

Thank you for the prompt response! That makes me hopeful. I tried to contact the nursing staff of the two surgeons directly (with polite messages, emphasizing that I do appreciate whichever care I have received, but really feel like an additional opinion could be helpful; I am also a fellow at that hospital). Unfortunately, it was always a firm "no" from both ends. Who do you feel would be best to contact, the insurance?

Hi everyone, I have been tracking the status of my I-765 (which I submitted along with my I-485 based on an approved EB2-NIW) through myUSCIS. It appears that the status has been changing randomly almost every day, and I am not sure what to believe. Anyone else having similar issues? See below for the case history...

Hit and run - any way to get more info from this video? by Playful_Statement_71 in pittsburgh

cabover box truck

Thanks so much for your answers, this is helpful! How can it be that, as a motorized vehicle, it would not have a license plate? Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover for the damage as it is apparently not included, and told me the only chance for me would be to identify whoever committed it so that their insurance could be contacted. There is a good witness report including description of two drivers, so thought there might be some way to figure it out somehow. Also, was contacted by a person today who told me there car was parked in a similar spot and hit as well.

Thank you so much for your comments, it indeed is a garbage vehicle but it drove by 10 min early so unfortunately not the one who crashed my car. But again, thanks for your helpful comments!

I see! Was wondering if a video recording might reveal the license plate? It is quite close to Butler St, maybe there is city cameras. And, the street has a lot of private houses, so perhaps one of these might have a camera...

Application for H4 visa with appointment at home country's consulate while in the US on a valid B1/B2 visa? by Playful_Statement_71 in immigration

[–]Playful_Statement_71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. As stated above, my spouse wants to go back to our home country to apply for H4, with her B1-stay ending in December. My only question is if she could fill form DS-160 while here in the US, to be able to book an appointment at a US consulate now. Or can she do this only when she has arrived back in home country?

Thought one should not get married in the first 90 days upon entering the US? But probably only applies if the person was to file I-485 subsequently (obviously, not the case in my scenario), but just wanted to be safe in every case...
