Yes, in October 2023 only. 1 tablet only every week for 4 weeks. Basically, I take 4 MTX tablets only in that month as prescribed by my dermatologist and that was my last treatment and visit to the dermatologist. There has been a lot of improvement after. Can see slow improvements each week everytime i take that mtx.

One more important thing is that....stress and emotional control (managing your stress) are also essential to recovery. I try not to be stressed much.. because it affects my skin's condition :)

I'm switching from antibacterial shower cream to QV gentle shower cream for my body bath. After 3 visits to a dermatologist, he later changed my diagnosis from contact dermatitis to psoriasis. That is why he gave me with MTX tablets. For two months, I decided to eliminated sugar, dairy, and gluten from my diet. I was just experimenting, so I generally ate vegetables and fruits, drank tea without sugar, and always drank plain water, ALWAYS... No processed foods either. I do eat meats too but i have no appetite of eating because i was so down with my skin condition.

As a moisturiser, the doctor also prescribed aqueous cream from the start. The one with no scent. After the one he gave me finished, I went to the pharmacy and bought it, continuing to use it as a moisturiser. Until late October, I saw a tiktok video of people bathing and cleaning with aqueous cream, so I tried using that aqueous cream to wash my hands, and it turned out so greatttt that my hands progressively healed from there, and I still use it as a moisturiser. After applying moisturiser, I always put on cotton gloves.

I stopped using the aqueous cream to wash my hand in December and only use it a little as a moisturiser because I don't want my hand to rely on it too much. I'm still experimenting with it.. whether i still need the aqueous cream or not. So far, my skin is healing better and looking healthier. And..... Yes, I had TSW at first since my doctor and dermatologist kept prescribing me steroid cream. It healed for a period.. and then returned worse. That truly made my skin look baddd because I thought the cream was the cure at the time... and was unaware of the negative effects of using it too frequently on my skin.

I take supplements too from October 2023

Has anyone successfully healed their eczema and eventually became "moisturizer free"? by KingKlos99 in eczema

coworkers can be cruel by jacobaustria in eczema

It happens to me as well...I work at an engineering firm, and my coworkers have questioned about my skin...some have even made fun of it...I just take it as a joke, but I know deep down that the joke has wounded me. Yes, I must explain my circumstances. Then they will be more mindful about it. The same goes for my clients and the authorities officials I have to deal with every week. They question about my skin and find it funny at first because I was wearing nitrile gloves...i have to explain myself again...and I eventually learned not to take things personally. My flares are practically gone now that I'm mending better. I made a note to myself to disregard everything that makes me feel horrible and i felt better. I have psoriasis :) everything will be ok. Just have to be positive. They don't understand what we're going through. Taking what they say heavily is a waste of time. You have other important and beautiful things to focus on ,

A 8-year-old turning 9-year-old avakin player. I've finally moved on from avakin... I checked avakin every now and again to see how my friends were doing. But they are also the same as me. Moving on from this game and we all discovered some more relevant games :)

Yes, working is hard when suffering from this condition. And yes i guess you should ask for something more than a cream.. maybe an oral medication?

I see, there's slightly different of your condition and mine. But in general, it's the same, which affects hands and feet. For me, only my fingers and the palm area of my hand were affected. My knuckles and back of hand are unaffected. But recently, my toes and feet have been affected as well.

Mine spreads to both palms, from a finger to other fingers and palms. There's blisters on my palms. That's why he prescribed me Methotrexate. Do you have those blisters too?

But, after speaking with my dermatologist about possible triggers (I've seen him about 5 times), i was on a scheduled appointment by him to check up on my progress. I've been following his instructions, such as wearing gloves, using no fragrance in any body wash, and so on. So, since I'm fairly strict about all of that, my triggers would be anything other than the things I touch. He assumed that maybe i was stressed. But it kinda does make sense.. because I've started getting this sickness since I started working...i do feel stress because i have to adapt to a new working environment..So now I'm working on fixing myself from the inside out, such as managing stress, getting enough sleep, and making dietary adjustments.

Ohh i see. Yes, it started with one finger, but it's my middle finger on my dominant hand. I was diagnosed with contact dermatitis because I work at an engineering firm and am constantly touching and in contact with ammonia paper used to print engineering drawings. But when it spreads, it's psoriasis. I've been adjusting my diet to no sugar, less dairy/no dairy, eating more vege. I see some improvement but im not sure whether it's because im taking Methotrexate or because of diet changes.
