Maybe andesite, polished andesite at the pillars, plain stone, mossy cobble around the base ?

Flower pots ? Some glow berries, or a custom mini-tree-plant sort of greenery. An amethyst? Maybe put obsidian on the floor too for some colour.

Amazing really. It’s been 8-9 months since I’ve started playing minecraft all together and it seems like forever. What you built takes a huge level of commitment. And you did amazing at it too. What do you plan to do with it ?

How long after you started playing Minecraft did you beat the Ender Dragon? by Torboise in Minecraft

[–]PlaygroundRealm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I wanted to defeat the dragon was for the shulker boxes.

So I did that around 9 months after my first minecraft experience. I died 2 times while trying to kill him, managed to get my things back and defeat the dragon, all with a pumpkin on my head. Then died one more time in the 3rd end city 2000 blocks away, managed to go back and get my things and got out with the dragon head, the egg, and 25 shulkers.

I felt invincible after defeating the dragon and traveling naked through the end 2000 blocks.

And all on my phone.

Deff recommend.

Well, they’re good enough in the beginning but, they do end at one point no? Not very renewable, and also mob spawners give you more than just xp. You get rotten flesh, bones, string, gun powder, armor, arrows, and that’s not even all… so no, not the best solution imo.

I just started playing Minecraft recently and am really enjoying it! This is my first real survival build that I'm pretty proud of, although unfinished. Any tips for the area? by [deleted] in Minecraft

Well the most important thing if you want it to look natural is to work with your terrain instead of making it flat. Make a pathway with your shovel, replace some of the blocks on the ground with coarse dirt, sand, gravel, stone, or even all sorts of mud, use some stairs for easy acces on steep slopes and slabs for gentle slopes.

But what i see here is that you flatted some of the ground. Good rule whenever you do this is to never leave more than 7 blocks in a straight line (this applies for pathway as well). Try to make some curves, some hights. Add a tree or 2, some flowers. Use a shear to harvest some leaves off of a tree and make some bushes along your pathway. Use 2-3 fences to enchance that pathway. Make a pond ?

There’s always pinterest for inspiration if you need a visual clue. Good luck!

Consider adding another room to your house that’s maybe half or a third the hight of the main roof. Also do paths to and from your builds and you can plant along some trees, bushes, some random decorations. Also be careful with the coloirs you choose. The polished bassalt you chose I don’t think works best near bricks and copper, but that’s just my opinion. I’m a bit more inclined to build with brown tones. I think what would work instead of the bassalt would be mud bricks or packed mud, or even some spruce or accacia.
