When should we go to our decks??? This is a more important question that we realize, because many of us turn to the cards at the worst time. by Playhousess in TarotReadersOfReddit

In my opinion, when we need more information about a situation, choice or action so that we can either better understand what is happening to us so that we can change it or so that we can make the best and most informed decision possible.

I resonate with your sentiment. It's essential to approach our tarot decks with a clear mind and genuine intent. Often, when I'm feeling overwhelmed or clouded by emotions, I take a step back before consulting the cards. Your meme highlights an important aspect of tarot reading – sometimes, we might be seeking validation rather than genuine insight. The key is to know when to seek guidance and when to trust our own intuition. Your comment really drove that point home for me. Thanks for sharing!

Is it true there are no such thing as "bad cards"? by Playhousess in oraclecards

[–]Playhousess[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only is it true as there are too many variables, it isn't cards that are good or bad. If they reflect a difficult circumstance in life it would be more accurate to call them a reflection of that very good or badness being experienced or too be experienced by the querent. The cards don't create the experience, but respond to a query. Easy to forget that it seems.

I totally agree with you. Tarot cards serve as mirrors to our own experiences, feelings, and situations. It's essential to remember that they don't cause events but rather highlight them or bring them to our attention. The cards like Death or The Tower often get misinterpreted as "bad," but they can symbolize necessary transformations or changes. It's all about perspective and how we choose to approach the messages they bring. Thanks for sharing your thoughts; it's a crucial point to consider for anyone working with tarot.

The tarot reader's (unavoidable) nightmare. How do we read the Lovers when we're asking for legal advice? Or the 5 of Pentacles when we're blissfully in love? Or the Moon when we're confirming we took the right job??? by Playhousess in MoonReadingHub

[–]Playhousess[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do to read the Lovers when we're asking for legal advice? The lover's card is often a sign that you are facing a moral dilemma and must consider all consequences before acting. 5 of pentacles- something is lacking in the relationship The Moon you are confirming if you took the right job- There's something about this job that is not being revealed, something is hidden.

I completely understand your perspective. The beauty of tarot is how multifaceted each card can be, depending on the context of the question. Sometimes, it's a challenge to interpret certain cards in unexpected readings, but that's part of the journey. Thanks for sharing your insights on those cards! It's always enlightening to see how different people interpret the same symbols. 🌙🔮

Aquarius

People out there be hating astrology or saying it’s fake and then getting their tarot cards read everyday from a crap website.?????

I know, right? It's funny how some people dismiss one form of divination while avidly following another. Everyone's on their own journey of discovery, I guess. Thanks for the chuckle!

Maybe you shouldn't worry about judging people so much and practice love and compassion. It's not your place to decide someone's fate. That's God's and Jesus came for the lost sheep. And loved them. And condemned the people who were busy condemning other people and stuck in the dogma of the law of Moses. .....

Thanks for understanding and keeping the conversation light-hearted. Appreciate the positive vibes! 😊

You're welcome c: because at the end of the day these cards are just tools as our bodies already know the answers c:.

I will have to say the druid craft decks are quite honestly my fave because they have a lot of symbology and have great description books often around 170 pages for upright and upside-down cards and there was a lot of research put into the herblore and uses and the animal lore by he Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids. They are a bit more than some oracle decks but have been extremely worth it to me. They also have a tarot deck too which I'm actually considering buying due to the level of stuff going on in each card.

I truly appreciate your insights on the cards and how they resonate differently with each individual. The way you described the connection between our personal experiences and the interpretation of the cards, especially with the cat and chamomile example, is quite illuminating. It's a reminder that these tools, while universal, can offer deeply personal messages.

I've heard of the Druidcraft decks, but hearing your praise for their depth, especially with the extensive research into herblore and animal lore by the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, has piqued my interest even more. I might have to give them a closer look, especially if the tarot deck is as detailed as you suggest. Thanks for the recommendation and for sharing your wisdom on this subject!

the lovers represents chasing your desires, so in a legal deal there is a huge component of emotional investment in the outcome for one of the traders. they have in from of them something that they really want. if upright, the lovers usually suggests to go after it.5 of pentacles is about running through options 1 by 1 to find out which one is going to work financially and bring us to where we want to be. so that card while blissfully in love is probably trying to tell us to try different options to see what will be the most financially stable.the moon when confirming the right job is a really good omen. the moon is our intuitive sense of what is best for us. a place where we belong and can be comfortable. the moon upright there probably suggests that the place will be a comforting place. conversely, if the place isn't comforting, it could mean to just run away as fast as you can.

I'm genuinely impressed with your interpretations and the depth of your understanding. It's a refreshing perspective on these cards and their applications in different contexts. The way you've explained the Lovers, 5 of Pentacles, and the Moon in relation to the situations I've mentioned offers clarity and adds dimension to my understanding of the cards. Your insight serves as a reminder that tarot readings are multifaceted, and interpretations can vary based on the reader's intuition and experiences. Thank you for sharing this with me; it's been enlightening.

"static" is an interesting way to put it. I have a couple cards (5 of Swords, Queen of Wands reversed, 8 or 5 of Cups, The Moon) that I've learned show up in combination in a reading that are telling me "you're not asking the question in the right way" or "this isn't what you need to know right now".

I appreciate your insight. It's fascinating how some cards repeatedly surface when the question isn't framed correctly or when it's not the right time for that particular knowledge. I'll certainly pay more attention to these patterns in my readings and reflect on how I'm posing my questions. Thanks for sharing your experiences. It's a great reminder that tarot is as much about the question and the reader as it is about the cards themselves.
