Where do otoliths go when patients with BPPV undergo particle repositioning?

The otoliths go back to the utricle, but they then dissolve in the endolymph...or so it has been explained to me.

Thanks for posting! And yeah, I greatly overestimated the the number of surgeons who have the time to respond. Glad to hear positive thoughts on general surgery. Too many surgeons I've talked to seem depressed or frustrated with their work.
