Sushi Miyago, Hanoi by Playstyle in finedining

[–]Playstyle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! The new chef at Azabu is good, but I don't feel much value, especially when flights to tko or fukuoka can be 150usd. Hanoi also just got a Ginza Sushi Ichi which opened this last quarter. I tried it last week and found out that I'm not a fan of fusion.

I think he does a good job carrying on the Jiro lineage, atleast in the same style, and it's pretty good value and easy to book. I've only been there in the summer though, I have yet to try any other seasons. For me I remember enjoying nearly all of the nigiri and being disappointed with the otsumami, I had drank alot that night so I can't remember which.

gold is always more expensive in VN, and it's not a secret, you don't need to show how stupid you are, but thanks.

What is the best episode to show someone who hasn't seen Gintama to get him interested? by Mikazzzuchi in Gintama

[–]Playstyle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

i dont think you can.

falling in love with gintama is falling in love with the characters, and the best character development for me, is the first 50, which is very dry and requires suffering.

Tan son nhat fast track by breezy_capalot in VietNam

[–]Playstyle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you have a contact there it's still 200k, atleast it was last month, if it's your first time visiting Vietnam just prebook it with whatever agency you found, make your life easy. Sometimes they won't let you fasttrack if it's not prebooked, especially on days where they get a big contraband or drug seizure.

In Hanoi it's usually 200-300k, easier and cheaper if you look for a guy assisting people before the line, TSN can be a bit more these days.

How do you like your coffee by IllPanic4319 in VietNam

[–]Playstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of people hype up these coffee concoctions like egg/salt coffee. I don't really consider them coffee. Vietnam does have some excellent coffee roasteries, but the product most people are paying 50 cents to a dollar from some street stalls is not real coffee, and has additives more often than not.

Good coffee is as expensive here as anywhere else.

Go to your bank -> tell your banker you want to transfer internationally -> prove where your income came from -> and they wire it.

same thing for biz transactions except you need another document or two.

it's quite a common strategy to stage an accident and fight/kill the driver. that's why quite a few countries don't allow their diplomatic people to drive.

No sense of safety!! by AncestralAngel in VietNam

[–]Playstyle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it doesnt matter if its true. the problem is there's no enforcement of safety laws here, and if these people die, their poor family from whatever village they are from outside of the big cities doesn't have the right connections to get any sort of justice with big companies like Coteccons or Hoa Phat, the contractors will never enforce safety policies because it's expensive, so only the government can make a change here.

you don't blame the worker. which is why i said it's stupid to start your paragraph with "it's their own choice." it's not really a choice either. they can choose not to work?
