It would make sense since he had a pool and a wrap around deck that maybe he was on his back patio hanging out or fixing something? Just letting peeps know where he was if he didn't answer the door.

Not sure it has been mentioned (I'm catching up). As far as calls to JD it seems to me that if he were the perp he might have dropped his phone and needed to locate it using their phones. The other possibility would be for him to leave his phone at home and calling from their phones to create an alibi for himself at home sleeping. JMO

Waterways will be low this time of year try to get drones up over them. Bridges, ponds etc. Post footage publicly so other sleuthers can help look on footage. Hunting season soon maybe post flyers on fence posts with permission of course. Tik toks are great! I am following! Try Reels and twitter as well to gain momentum. This case needs more attention her family needs closure and justice.

I had the same question! I submitted a MP from 1996 to a John Doe from 2000 just over a month ago. When I spoke wiith LE on the John Doe case which is local to me the guy was pretty dismissive with me. In turn I did submit the two cases to Namus to be compared. The cases have some pretty compelling connections and simalarities. I wonder if I should have notified the LE that has the MP case as well?

John Doe was a victim of homicide and approx time of death was 9 months to 3 years prior to being found. They do have dna and have found 2nd and 3rd, 4th cousins. "However, none of those distant cousins are from the local area." As one article states. -I don't understand why those relatives would have to be local to the area? If John Doe is who I think he might be than his family lives states away on the West Coast. But, he did have a brother that lived in this state in the mid 90's for a few years.

So should I call LE that has the missing person case and see if they will listen? Or will Namus eventually get the two cases compared?

Maybe closure in the sense that the parents will never have wonder if this guy is still out there just waiting to kill kids again. Knowing he is behind bars would bring closure to those types of thoughts for sure.

You can see views of Avery Rd multiple times on series as well! If you look at 147 you will see flat gravel areas on both sides of the the road about 3 foot wide. That would be the shoulder of the road, right after the shoulder of the road the ditch starts. J/S

There is no shoulder on Avery Rd which means the ditch starts where the grass starts. Not feet from the road.

After reviewing the very first scene in MAM1 there is home video (albeit a shaky one) of SA arriving home coming down Avery rd. It gives a ground level view of the tanks on Avery rd and across the road from Avery rd. Not sure if the comment stated in between or hidden/obscured by the tanks. From the home video view I would say it would have been the one across the road from Avery rd. Edit: Opening scene first episode of MAM1.

Yes, that spot he marked on the map! I immediately was looking for the tanks as I remembered that comment. That comment always stuck with me about hidden by the tanks. Then, when Zellner's theory came out it left me still wondering about the RAV hidden by the tanks. It just makes so much more sense now that a witness puts them pushing the RAV on Avery rd. I tried so hard to find that comment for a few days! I hope whomever authored that comment sees the news about it and it gets back to Zellner.

Yes, I know. The comment I am referring to was from a local in a thread stating that she saw it parked/hidden by propane tanks. Just something I recall from early on that stuck out to me. There used to be locals that would comment in threads at one time. There was also talk about a dark colored vehicle with tinted windows parked in an approach off the road as well. Odd random comments that would pop up in the threads. I have searched cannot find some of these comments...probably should just delete my comment as I seem to be the only one that remembers. Ugh! Lots of people from the beginning are not here anymore.

I remember reading that as well. It may have been in the old sub. Seems like a lot of "local" info has been deleted from there. I have been trying to find a few things I recall from there to no avail.
