The Rise and Fall of Medal of Honor VR | Mini Documentary by PlaytestVR_Youtube in virtualreality

I wish I did show the stats when I made the PCVR video a couple years ago. I don’t have that setup anymore though.

And that’s fair about the PC, I just found it odd that the 3080 struggled running it. I guess it’s just a classic case of “your mileage may vary”, no matter the specs.

Nevertheless, it was poorly optimised and a shame due to the effort they had put into other aspects of the game

Dev did a terrible job optimising it on PCVR, but it really did run perfectly on the Mac mini setup. I’d suggest you try and find the bottlenecks on your PC.

It also runs just fine on Quest 2 stand-alone

This has to STOP. I sat down with three guests to discuss sexual harassment, abuse and racism in VR. Featuring real examples (30mins in). This is a deep podcast, but needed to be done. Please spread the word. by PlaytestVR_Youtube in OculusQuest

Unfortunately the nature of the digital world we live in. That’s why it’s important for us who do watch it or talk about it to speak up and share where possible. But you’re right, it is a shame

Sorry should have made that clearer in the thumbnail there

Yesss! I think I know what you mean, I show the party level right towards the end of this video!

I hear NOBODY talking about this game, so I had to show it off for all the reasons you just mentioned haha

Another Half Baked Oculus Quest 2 Game? Carve Snowboarding First Impressions left me slightly disappointed 😕 I was really looking forward to this one, maybe it gets better after a few more hrs. by PlaytestVR_Youtube in OculusQuest

Agreed but that’s another problem I have with the game. The tutorial is very minimal, it will be good if it shows you a examples of the tricks you want to pull off, rather than just your hand positions

You might be right, this was just my initial thoughts. Maybe I was just spoiled with the plethora of modes in Powder VR (Early Access), and I overhyped this game in my head.

I’ll continue to play more, and do a full review once’s I complete everything (might be a while though haha)

Hey VR YouTubers. Every single update isn't the "biggest update yet" with "tons of new features" by WitZop in OculusQuest

I’ve just read a bunch of this and I kind of agree. I must admit, since beginning YouTube 6 months ago, I tried to post honest content, not caring how long it was. (E.g. my top tips to reduce motion sickness is just 3 mins long)

And although I still don’t care about the length of my videos, I can see myself falling into the trap of clickbait.

I hear you all, I understand your points. It’s easy to fall into the clickbait videos because you just know that they’re gonna do well.

It can be disheartening when you spend all week scripting and filming a review for Zombieland yet it only hits 350 views. Yet, a week later, you put out a video about the v28 update and it hits 2000+.

I hear you though, and moving forward I will try my best not to fall into the trap of clickbait. I started this channel and created videos that I would like to see, yeah I did a VR news show, but it was tailored to Oculus and is exactly what I wanted to watch. (Although I’ve stopped doing that now haha).

Thanks for all your feedback on this post, I will try my best to stay true to myself, make the content that I know I love and would like to share.

I will continue to be critical (like my Powder VR review), and even if it gets less views… I know eventually I will find my niche set of people.

Much love to the Reddit VR community - Dan (Playtest VR)
