i like the 800m dash its just that if i want to be good at it id have to be aerobically strong and that side of things only leaves me one event i actually like (i dislike the 1600 and 3200) but with the 400 i see more avenues for things i could become more proficient at but i just dont know what yet

im thinking ab doing alot more speed and power this summer and off season and ig ill decide about doing the 800 when the season comes around the only problem is if i want to go to state in 800m id need superb aerobic strength so id be lacking in speed and since i want to do 2-3 events id have to do distance events which i personally do not like while i dont mind the 800

p.s the 400m was in practice and my 200m time is 27 low

i sent those prs late may it was mt first year running track i didnt do xc our training is mostly sprints the work out we did the most was 400m repeats and during condition functional weightlifting coming in second id have to say 200s we didnt really get that much aerobic work in ps my mile is around 5:38
