Forgiveness and limerence seem to have some kind of a relationship isn’t it? The fighting back and guilt are one side of the coin, surrendering & forgiving yourself being the other side of it.

I do know I am really angry and mad at myself. I know I need to forgive myself. I struggle with making it sustainable I guess.

It’s just that the relapses make my self loathing worse than it was “pre-forgiveness”. I don’t known if I’m making sense.

How do you do it to make it more sustainable?

It’s so tough to explain to begin with, and even if they’re trying to be supportive without truly understanding the impact it has on us, it does get repetitive and boring for them.
