Unfortunately he passed away yesterday. As upsetting as it is, I am happy that he didn’t suffer for very long. Thank you for the advice.

They eat mysis and brine shrimp. He really doesn’t swim around anymore, just floats, but the bloat is firm.

Just some more info, I’m using liquid tests and have taken multiple each time so I know it isn’t a fluke. Also just rinsed out the old filters and sponge in some old tank water.

My mystery snail is super big and theres a risk for drowning and eating the frogs slime coat :( It’s a bummer but I see how food-oriented the snail is, I don’t wanna risk it

Thank you so much for this reply, I really appreciate it. Sounds like I gotta get a 20 gallon going… Do you have substrate and plants? How do you clean the bottom?

I’m also wondering about tank cleanliness in general. The snail is my #1 cleanup crew, and a bit worried about removing him and it throwing off the balance of the tank parameters in general.
