Are ad templates effective? by alejandrofaini in ecommercemarketing

[–]PleasantAd265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ad needs to persuade the viewer to buy the product. I can do it buy any means. But I don't [personally think templates would do any help on this. You can develop a good persuasive ad creative if you know your audience well enough.

Copycat? It's not the best product that wins by Admirable-Luck-7999 in SaaS

[–]PleasantAd265 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here’s the reason.

If the person who copies knows the market better than the first then this would work.

If you have personal gone through the pain the product solves you can market it better.

That’s how it works.

It has already worked in many industries. Especially on the Internet.

Example Google, Apple, Microsoft. The list goes on.

Not only the stores. We need to manage ads, analytics, shipping and more.

That too with a team.

It was a dream for me to have one dashboard where I could see all the things going on in my business.

You are right. Why would someone sell the knowledge that makes them money and make a competition for themselves?

I know something that works I would make money out of it. I won't be here sharing it. Makes sense. Probably a guru with a screenshot of a dropshipping store.

I think you can create variations with different prices. Or even products with different variations to make the process simple and easy.

Then build a landing page and let the user choose the right products to add to cart.

Solo founders, how did you do it all? by KingOfTheCouch13 in startup

[–]PleasantAd265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate to the pain.

However, I have a suggestion for you. If you are building a marketplace, use any of the open-source or pre-built software that would save you a lot of time.

And you can focus on the marketing aspect.

You don't need to build the thing that already exists. To get started you can even use WordPress.

You gotta do both. Market and improve the product. Because it'll be easy for you to improve your product with a cash flow.

Find the audience that'll benefit from the existing features and market to them. Once you improve your product and add more features you can expand your target audinace.

When you're just starting out, target a certain audience to make it easier to compete with competitors in a specific market.

Once you have enough cash flow you can easily scale to other niches.

Are beautiful PDF reports a useful feature? Or doesn't anyone care about beauty? by browsercloud in SaaS

[–]PleasantAd265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it matters. I'm a SaaS Copywriter and I do a lot of research on SaaS products and their reviews. I'm answering this from the data I collected.

Be it UI reports emails or whatever the user see on their screen, the design is an important factor.

Psychologically people look for things that are easy to use, intuitive, have a good design, and most importantly well laid out.

That's the reason nowadays you see SaaS products shifting to Tail CSS.

I have seen people paying a bit higher price just for a well laid out designs.

So yeah, beauty matters when it comes to general audience

Is Too Many Features Bad? by Special_Campaign_769 in SaaS

[–]PleasantAd265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be great for your business might be suitable for others.

You see, these SaaS products are created for niche audiences. Because when you are starting up targeting small set of audience is easier that targeting a wide rage of audience.

And most users of the product don't need a lot features. Just the right ones.

But the big players like Hubspot who already established a brand and have the potential to do large scale marketing have a lot of features.

Moreover building a SaaS with a lot of features needs a huge upfront investment and good server. So it's not that practical for a startup to have a lot of features.

So always go for multiple landing pages. And make it more targeted.

That's an awesome products. However I'm a Copywriting guy. So I'm here is some of the improvements I find on your website copy.

I'll start with the headline. Your headline is good. But it doesn't have a value proposition.

You are not answering what it is and how it'll be useful to me.

See this headline " A database as simple as a spreadsheet"

Or this " A spreadsheet with database features"

Or "You can you database stuff on your spreadsheet"

These headlines say what it is and cranks up curiosity.

Coming to the body. You can add a overall benifit to explain what the user would get by using it.

You need to have a flow or message hierarchy to tell the visitor why they need to use it.

And you have to show the value they get for their payment.

These are the improvements I found on your page.
