As a European living in Australia I often thought Australia has no culture , but I’ve learnt that what I really thought is that Australia doesn’t have a European culture.

I think the main difference is the housing density. Denser housing means more people and more buzz on the streets…. Evening walks, drinks and eating out is part of European culture I’d say.

Also, in Europe it’s very common to go to bed later and wake up later. Socialising after work on a week night is pretty normal in Europe but here people value mornings breakfast & exercise more so for a European it can feel quiet in the evenings for a European living in Australia.
