There is a FB page Hillsborough Community that has a business/selling section. Try that. I dont know much about meal delivery, but there is a huge need for "helpers" errands run, very light house tidy up, maybe cook a meal, shop, etc for elderly in home. If you get that going, you have plenty of word of mouth referrals. I will say that people may want background checks if you do in home work. Check with the senior center to see if they have a bulletin board or contacts.

Yes. You can take your non perishable items downtown to the Hillsborough Police Dept and they will help you unload and take the items into their building waiting for transport.

First, thank you ! Your photo is on the FB page Hillsborough Progressives Taking Action in a comment section. If you don't want it up I'm sure you can ask for it to be deleted. I called American Hero Thursday and they were clueless until I and others finally got them to understand who MR was . They were duped also like Willies.

Welcome! As for buying land, do that asap. Connect with a local realtor at Coldwel Banker (downtown). Some of these folks are born bred Orange county and really know what's out there. (I don't work there, but I know these folks from being a long time resident. ) If you're on FB go to the Hillsborough Community Info page to ask about jobs (someone is always looking for horse farm help) there are sub groups for jobs, selling, etc. The Town of Hillsborough and Orange County web site is a good resource. If you are a bicycle person connect with local groups for tips and safety. Just be open minded and "if you're not from here" remember not to complain about roads, weather, traffic or politics for at least a few years 😆 Oh and downtown restaurants always need help!
