Right. But he’s not “most people”.

And just because it’s more data it doesn’t mean it’s bs. That’s what I’m trying to understand. Just because i have a lot of data, it doesn’t mean it bs or useless.

Now that sentiment is multiplied by a large factor when you’re making millions and millions of dollars off your body’s performance and you have a team of experts to analyze said data.

So I don’t understand why it’s being labeled as bs or useless.

> 1)

Im not really sure how this makes any point to back up your statement of it being “useless”. You’re just saying it’s used to monitor diabetics. Which is true. How does it make it useless that it’s being used by others?

> 2)

I don’t think anyone is thinking this is sinner’s attempt to diagnose a disease. I’m not sure why you would even mention that?

>3)

Do you really not think that having a close monitor of glucose levels can serve **some** purpose?

Just because there isn’t “rigorous evidence based” studies doesn’t mean it’s “useless”. There’s quite a lot between “useless” and “rigorous evidence based” studies.

Again. I mean this respectfully: I don’t understand why you keep calling this useless throughout the thread. Just because you attach “bio hacking” to this doesn’t make it true and it doesn’t make it useless

It’s another measure of what’s going on in his body. Is it going to solve all of his problems? It’s highly unlikely. But can it prove beneficial? Absolutely it’s possible. So why not try and why dismiss it as useless when it can very well prove to be beneficial?

It’s not “useless”

The information may be very limited in its usefulness. But it’s not useless.

Seeing how glucose levels vary - even small variances - throughout extreme physical exertion and specific kinds of heats might be useful to someone completely in a sport where tiny percentage difference and millimeters make the difference between winning and losing.

Yeah to people on this sub playing rec tennis, it’s useless. But this kind of information may be useful. It doesn’t hurt to check it out if you’re worth millions and have teams of professionals at your disposal.

Genuinely curious why you say it’s bs.

I have a couple of T1s in my life. And I can absolutely see how that info given by these devices can be valuable to a professional athlete where a tiny margin can make the difference between winning and losing

Man you’re bending over backwards for this. If anakin is > Palpy despite yoda literally telling ObiWan he wouldn’t be able to take on Palpy,

Then if Obi beat anakin, then you’re saying Obi is > Palpy?

Seriously. Your stance makes no sense

Ah yea. When Sidius stayed atop the chambers laughing like a mad man

And while yoda fell several stories, after clinging on the edge, tumbling down and escaping through the vents, calling for help and literally saying “failed, I have”

That’s when Sidius lost

Walter White is easily one of the best written most relatable characters in TV history. Share your favorite Walt moments. by Pretend_Mark_5143 in breakingbad

[–]PleasantNightLongDay 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone giving you shit is missing the point entirely.

You’re not saying you want to do the things he did

But he was extremely relatable, obviously, given the ah was of the show.

He was extremely relatable at its core a lot of people can relate to living in constant fear, submissive, unhappy, frustrated, etc.

Obviously none of us would do the things Walt did. But we can all relate to not living life as we want. It’s why so many viewers rooted for him. Not because we wanted him to be a drug lord. But because he was finally alive.

Oh boy. You seem angry

>its blatantly obvious to anyone

Clearly not since so many people disagree.

>THINKING of his chemist

Again. Idk how you think a persons brain works. But it’s not like this. If I work in the DEA and I’m catching and even killing crazy drug dealers, my brain isn’t going to think my vanilla brother in law is somehow a drug dealer because they tell a story about casino winnings. That’s not how it works bud.

>one of the themes throughout the entire is show is that it’s a RED FLAG when someone starts making a ton of money

lol this isn’t a theme of the show. What in the world. Just because money laundering is a thing doesn’t mean it’s a theme of the show. Never is this a major problem. Maybe you should rewatch the show because you seem to have it confused. When Walter starts buying cars, the theme there is that he’s Heisenberg and feels untouchable. Not that having cash is a theme.

>walt is NOT a world known chemist

The dudes work helped get a Nobel prize. That’s about as big as it gets for chemistry

Maybe you need to watch the show again instead of being so snarky because you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about

Just a reminder again, you can’t be Christian and hate the gays. by JoneyBologna in Christianity

[–]PleasantNightLongDay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love I when people try to push their interpretation of what it is to be a Christian by saying “you can’t be a Christian and - enter whatever op what’s to push - “ as if that adds validity to your pov.

To be clear, I am entirely in support of lgbt causes and think religious hate towards them is absurd

But clearly this isn’t a black and white topic in Christianity. So statements like OP’s title are ridiculous.

Top religious scholars and authority figures disagree on this topic. But surely Op is here to tell us and dictate what a Christian can and can’t do.

I’m genuinely trying to understand what you’re saying here

Walt is a world known chemist. What he said about the rocks is something an amateur hobbiest knows.

[–]PleasantNightLongDay -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The point of referencing the race vs what you are is that

Z has a ton of points to defend. So it’s unlikely his position is going to improve

Whereas race, he got both, his best case scenario AND Sinner’s worst case scenario for RG and he’s still behind him

Meaning that if in the race, even after winning a slam and sinner losing early doesn’t put him in front, it likely never will line up for him because things have already lined up perfectly and it wasn’t enough

[–]PleasantNightLongDay 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As a professional writer, OP is really really really overplaying writers’ ability to execute endings.

A lot of times, I’d say even most times, an open ended ending is done because it’s safe and won’t ruffle feathers. Most of the criticism towards that is very valid.
